I posted a couple days ago but I’m still getting “failed to fetch downloadable content information” on PC. No server fix has corrected this. I’ve seen other connection errors addressed but not this one.
Not yet, I tried more solutions but none solved my case
There was another guy I was talking to, he had this problem solved by deleting a file named ShaderCache.bin in the Hitman folder, see if it works for you!
I’m having the same problem, some other guy had this problem as well and he deleted the ShaderCache.bin file in the Hitman folder and got his game to work. For me, it didn’t though. You might want to try that
Pre-Ordered the XBOX ONE Standard edition on Disc from Amazon. Installed the game, transferred progress. Trinity Pack nowhere to be found, does not show as content I own in the Xbox Store unlike other items (Hitman 1 & 2 access, for example, see attached). Amazon never sent any codes to redeem and their support was not helpful with this matter.
After two days now, can I get some help for this, and at a minimum an IOI staffer acknowledge the problem? I bought the Deluxe Edition disc for PS4, but the game is refusing me access to the Deluxe Escalations and mission commentaries while directing me to buy the Deluxe Pack upgrade from the Playstation Store for an additional $35. I need a solution to access the game content that I already paid for.
I got it to work again with a similar issue, but I had to totally reset my PC (not delete files but wipe fresh everything else). Not a fast easy solution but it opens!

Hitman 3 Deluxe Edition digital (pre-ordered)
Description :
Every time I try to start Hitman 3, the game tries to connect to the server but then throws up the ‘connection failed’ screen. I get ‘failed to fetch configuration’ which is different from the ‘fetch profile’ and ‘online resources’ warnings other people have been getting.
I do not have the artbook or ost in my IOI account.
My Hitman 2 progression is not available in my IOI account, Hitman 3 is not listed in the linked account section of my IOI account, but my guess is because I haven’t been able to connect to H3 servers.
Steps to reproduce:
After pressing X button, shows message ‘CONNECTING’.
Changes to ‘AUTHENTICATING’ seconds later.
‘CONNECTION FAILED’ message pops up.
I think this issue is most likely limited to a few people who carried over their profiles on launch day when the carryover site was buggy. I believe my profile/IOI account was corrupted which is why it’s not being recognized
What do you mean totally reset? Did you have to reinstall windows? Because at this point that seems like my only option. I’m just so confused by what is causing this glitch
Factory reset, under update and recovery in PC settings you should be able to find it. Same issue here! It was working fine for a few days but all of a sudden it stopped working yesterday, and I feel like I’ve tried everything short of reinstalling Windows.
