ICA Electrocution Phone removed from HITMAN 3

They could’ve made non-water puddle electrocutions non-accident kills. Making the phone still be useful but only if there are no witnesses around.

And again, I think the Sieker is way more overpowered. Target in a public area? Shoot him with the Sieker. Target has bodyguard(s)? Shoot them with the Sieker. Other NPCs in the area? Shoot them with the Sieker.

Well, that depends on one´s point of view, right? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Tbh I’m glad it got removed :stuck_out_tongue: I can’t think of any possible nerf that wouldn’t contradict current electrocution mechanics or be too complicated.

couldn’t care less, its a Singleplayer Game.

It was a terrible decision to add it to the game to begin with. Removing it is the best decision they’ve made lately. Its absense will force players to be more creative in their approaches, which is the entire point of Hitman.

I´d say the game should encourage you to be more creative, but not necessarily force you  What items and approach you use and why is entirely everyone´s own decision.

Anyways, here´s hoping the game eventually gets a proper offline mode and the EP comes back with it when it doesn´t matter for the leaderboards, contracts, etc. :man_shrugging:

Yes, next time let´s remove the bombs from Kirov Park Meeting, cause they´re basically free kills as well :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

only the one were the car stands on the sewer.

You can use the carbomb on the other limo as well if you disguise as the driver but I’m sure you know about this :stuck_out_tongue:

yes, but it isnt “a free kill”, you have to actually risk something to get the limo drivers outfit and the Bodyguards can see trough your disguise if you are not careful.
The car of the general is a free kill.

But in both instances they´re “easy” kills which don´t require much “creativity” from the player :stuck_out_tongue:

What do you have to risk?

but then again, its a Singleplayer Game and the Player decides what Route he wants to go. nobody is forced into using the Bombs, or the Phone.
I’m just indifferent to the phone. I dont care if its in the Game or not.

That the driver sees you with your chloroform and runs to the Guards, for example?
it happened to me before, but maybe I’m just not an absolute Hitman Pro Gamer like you :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And THAT is exactly why I think it should be kept there, for the sake of having the option if one decides to use it

let’s wait and see how the red Sieker works.

Not a huge risk though.Being spotted by civillians does not affect the rating and I am pretty sure it is not difficult to get close to the driver, especially if you run towards him.

Any enforcer? Seiker. Now they cant see

The Red Kalmer will be likely a kind of Tranquilizer reskin. Would be very odd if IOI removes the EP but introduces a gun that offers free poison kills.

No-one is forced to play competitively, but we do. Our choice of playstyle forces us to use the phone. We dont say ‘oh i want to use the phone’ we say 'I wanna be fast af, phone is fast af, i have to use the phone"

Its a catch 22. If i dont use it for personal preference, then i should not consider playing competitively. I feel like I dont have a choice here, despite technically having one.

EDIT Im camp nerf, not camp remove. Ephone did way more than just electrocute!

I completely understand your point. Then of course there´s those of us who don´t care about being fast af, don´t play competitively, and simply wanna have the option for the sake of variety. Both playstyles are completely legit and the fact that we all get a kick out of the game in different ways is what makes it great. Which is why I´d prefer IO to come up with a solution that would be acceptable to both/all sides :frowning:

100%. Ephone acting as KO without water is THE logical answer here. And IO suck for not being able to make it happen.

We currently dont have a device capable of remote KO, but non suspicious, and therefore able to be carried by anyone on their normal routes.
