This map is fantastic, I imagine a lot of people are gonna be surprised with Diana stabbing Yates at the end of that opportunity, as I was too, but I thought it was super cool to see Yates tell a bodyguard to kill the other target (canât remember her name) during that same meeting, after she denounces him
Completely surprised me and made things way more tense with how they took Diana to Yatesâ mansion after. And that was just my first run of the map lmao
I found out you can find what remains of a Class act near the asado pit, 47 blending in at certain areas makes him actually talk about the level with the wait staff, two people discuss the power vacuum amongst the cartels since Ricoâs death, two people discuss Alexa Carlisleâs death with their soon to be a true crime podcast on it and a fictionalised novel (from the headmaster in Morocco no less) based on the Whitmerâs own account. Funny that implies that 47 didnât solve the mystery that or the PI is lying through his teeth.
Also one guy who talks about the ICA being busted asks for an assassinâs number the same way a police officer pretending to be a man purchasing drug does.
Not to mention ofcourse that Yates was friends and partner with Ken Morgan. Since this is the last level in the game, with Romania being the âepilogueâ, it is rather cool to see all these little connections.
Itâs telling that 47 started the trilogy in Paris in a midnight blue tuxedo and then finished the trilogy in a white dinner jacket and we have noticed the bond influence in nearly every level.
I didnât expect to particularly like this level - I thought it would be a retread of A Vintage Year and it wouldnât sufficiently distinguish itself from Sapienza and Santa Fortuna. How wrong I was! This is easily my favorite level of the game. I somehow didnât envision a modern winery. I didnât think how different that would feel from the old oaky one A Vintage Year. This level had a fantastic sense of place. Iâve toured my share of vineyards, and this really felt like one! I didnât really feel that from the other levels⌠Chongqing was a feast for the eyes, but not exactly something I could feel myself personally exploring. Mendoza had that ineffable Sapienza feel for me. I get this place!
And the conversations! All the heralds and Providence heads mucking about, gossiping about 47âs past exploits and what they think of Diana! Just fabulous.
And we started way back in Paris with a midnight blue tuxedo which is also worn by Bond about as often as white. He ventures away from a black tux more than most.
Not to get all literary, but the black suit â> white suit transition is probably some forced symbolism to demonstrate 47âs transformation from an enslaved monster to a free human being. God knows. IO has me racking my A level English brain lol
@Bourbon
Actually I thought you dipped out to avoid spoilers, and I was patiently waiting for you to come back and tell us how much you love what they did with Diana. Have you played the mission story where 47 sits down in a chair yet? << sorry for cryptic. Avoiding spoilers.
Thereâs a nice little touch to this mission that I appreciate: You can kill Tamara in front of Diana and she wonât react, and it doesnât ruin your SA rating. She just ignores it and goes back to her regular route. I was worried she mightâve been programmed like a regular civilian NPC, like the Constant in the Isle of Sgail.
