Year 5 is starting out on a much better note than Year 4! With Year 4, stuff like The Lee Hong Derivation being free for Chinese New Year, the first Year 4 ETs, and the F7SC FC batch were not announced in a roadmap. Year 2 and Year 3 also didn’t get their first roadmaps until March. There’s also new challenges in the first months of Year 5 which we didn’t have in Years 2, 3, and 4.

The Year 4 Galore is better conveyed than the Year 3 Galore was, and they even have the dates for both halves of the reruns listed on the roadmap when they didn’t do that for Year 3’s halves.

However, since The Fixer seems to be exactly the same as it’s been in the past, I anticipate a lot of complaints from people failing it.

The positive of The Fixer coming back is hopefully this means they are willing to change up the legacy ETs more in Year 5. Maybe The Prince, The Identity Thief, The Angel of Death, The Blackmailer, The Paparazzo, and The Chef will finally appear as normal ETs this year. I’d like them to do The Black Hat, The Twin, The Bookkeeper, and The Fugitive again too for something more different. What the heck, do The Congressman and The Guru instead of The Deceivers!

The only weird thing is the dates of the roadmap. They start it on January 13 even though there’s nothing appearing in the game until January 17. It might just be them trying to better communicate stuff, and if it is then it’s appreciated. Though I’m not sure why it’s ending on March 31, surely it will end on March 27 when the next patch comes and the PSVR2 mode releases.

Well done, IOI.

I like the return of the Fixer and lack of any paid DLC Packs for this time, (which I can’t buy anymore because I’m russian). But I still don’t see two very important things:

  1. Arcade Contract for Fixer?
  2. Official announcement of situation with steam and epic russian region stores.

that will be good if fixer added in arcade, but what gonna unlock in that arcade?
and I don’t think ioi should reply the game get ban in Russia, that stuff just too political…

Undying, Disruptor, Drop and Splitter Arcades don’t have any unlocks either. (If only don’t count DLC items itself as unlocks)

Typically, we we here at the forum refer to the Hitman “community,” we’re talking about this community.

The dream of an Ambrose escalation is dying.

Not a half bad roadmap this late in the game.

I wish to point out that the new items are not just reused models or mere retexture.
But they look like new models.
Original and appropriate details for what the items are in gameplay.

Good Production Value.
In post year 3 Hitman?
More likely than you think.
Good on the team.

Even more hopeful for Year 5. :grinning:

Maybe they don’t know, it’s a real big secret from companies, but russian gamers adapted to situation and learned how to buy banned games long ago. Fourth year of war is going on. So that, applying such a decision now (not immediately in 2022) brought them only a significant reputational downgrade in Russia and nothing more. I don’t see any pros of this decision now. Fans like me will still find a way to bring IOI money that they don’t want to earn anymore.

Didn’t read the blogpost yet, but has anyone cracked this Galores with numbers?
What does it mean?

They made the Lee Hong Derivation free to play last year for a limited time in February and it unlocked the rewards normally, I suppose it is the same this time.

YES! The Fixer! Finally IOI, took you long enough.

Oh, I must missed that.

Good. Let it die. Escalations suck and we don’t need any more of them.

Actually, we need Season 1 ultra legacy escalations. I don’t remember exactly, but there are 19 escalations exist in Paris, while we have only 4 of them in WoA.

That’s 4 too many. We don’t need any more escalations. They can stay gone.

One more wouldn’t hurt.

Say thanks to Kotti) I’ve had a very toxic relationship with this wonder of speedrun engineering. But I was young and green. I’d never imagined the fall season preview featured contract back then. Not the season 1 version, but 2020. (Yeah, I was shocked too) Two slightly different versions of this contract were featured. I’ve completed 2020 ten days ago. Such a pain.

After going on at people that aren’t too thrilled to see The Fixer back even though you wanted it back, it seems a bit hypocritical for you to be going on at people that want to see things back that you don’t want to see return.

They’re not making the game just for you. If they add something you don’t want, don’t play it. Simple.
