New Roadmap: Season of the Luck

I am though! It’s silly and it bothers me.

Could be a lost in translation thing, related to different languages needing or not needing definite articles.

Yeah, fully agree. Being able to get the diamonds ahead of time would be a great change.

No offense, but just to remind. IOI is a Danish company.

And they’ve been producing English language games primarily geared towards English language audiences for decades.

If they can’t spare a few kroner for a good proofreader, evidently one of us mere peasants could be leveraged to do it for free.

That description is absolutely hilarious, the combo of the typo on “its” and the really obscure “tsuka” term make it look like a complete word salad, which is actually fairly fitting for a “makeshift” weapon

You misspelled "I don’t ".

i will join him, so ‘I’ already became ‘we’

While I will side with @Dribbleondo in the sense that I personally never voted for The Fixer, I will admit that I was curious about trying it. I never played the mission because I started playing Hitman (2016) long after the ETs ended.

Edit:

I absolutely agree on the Elusive Target Arcade part either way. It should be playable there as well.

Great to see my old friend Xander Haverfoek come back, it’s been over 5 year since we last saw him. I still remember doing that mission for the last time in H2, then never again. Back when Ghost Mode was still a thing… I’ve only played this mission twice so I’m excited to do it again, hope we get an Arcade version too.

I DO hope IO listened to all the player feedback about this mission (not just about bringing him back), and that the annoying instafail objectives were modified. Otherwise an entire new generation of players will turn it into THE most failed ET ever once more…

No, I spelled it exactly right.

Does anybody want to go ahead and make a topic dedicated to The Fixer with all the special notes and info? I say this because some of you are so good at making such topics. :face_holding_back_tears:

Random thought: Bit of a troll putting The Fixer in “The Season of the Luck”, considering how unlucky people are going to be in that ET…

Thank you, I know. That’s why I’m wondering if Danish has different rules for the inclusion of definite articles (in English that’s the word “the”).

Anyway, I also voted for the Fixer — because I’ve never played the damn thing, so why wouldn’t I vote for it?..

So then - since when you became an Community Represantive to spoke in “our” opinion? I want more Escalations, especially these more themed ones. I don’t like that some of locations have more Escalations than other ones. there is room to improve it.

I believe there is plenty of people who also like that kind of content. So speak for yourself or just don’t play if you don’t like it. Simple as that.

Still no statement on the content from the delisted DLC? When are game companies going to get the message that missing content bothers people more than whatever the actor did to get it pulled in the first place? Just change the model to a generic NPC one if it bothers you so much, devs.

Also, Twitch drops serve no purpose 4 years into the game besides annoying the completionists who bought the game day one and want nothing to do with Twitch.

Missing game content does not bother me more than rape and assault.

Call me crazy.

One has nothing to do with the other. If the content was on disc, it would be out there for good. I’m sure there are past examples. All this removing content because of licensing, censorship, or anything else just makes digital games suck. Did Netflix remove House of Cards or stop selling the disc because of Kevin Spacey? No. Bad enough they ruined the end because they couldn’t work with him for 8 more episodes.

How interesting that now everybody is pulling out the “don’t play it if you don’t like it card,”’when it was a whole different story with a few certain other things…

Anyway, we don’t need more time, money, and space taken up with escalations when we could have more new bonus missions, better ETs, additional Arcade rounds and Freelancer expansion. So screw the escalations, let’s use that effort to get new stuff for all the other aspects of the game. There, I said it.

As a long term (PC) player none of this interests me. Might play The Fixer for the novelty, but of course I can play that any time on Peacock.

But hopefully newer players will get some kick out of it, and nice they used the results of a poll to help pick the old ETs

But yeah, as far as I’m concerned this is 2.5 months of nothing, have to see if next season holds this supposed new content/ET, or if IO ever works with modders to implement fan-made content in some way.

If the game had been on disc, they would have removed it from any future production of the disc. The key is that those who got it before would still have it, those who got it after wouldn’t. That’s how it works. The bad optics of continuing got push content that involves business with someone who did something so heinous outweighs any gains in keeping it around.
