Ngl, I didn’t get that very clever. I’m looking forward to playing this one, I feel like the ICA facility is one of the places in H3 I’ve explored the least
Welcome to my world.
[Insert name of any location in the game.]
Me: “I feel like that’s one of the locations I’ve explored least.” lol
I followed the rules.
Fun contract. Turns out, I know 100% less about the ICA facility than I thought I did.
Don’t let this video fool you, my performance was much worse than it appears.
Death was a mercy. RIP, 47.
P.S. The dumpling cook facemask is clearly defective. Would not recommend.
Ah man. Yeah, it’s not much of use in a room full of gas that’s somehow lethal for 47.
I followed the rules - 168,210
Ngl this contract may have made me enjoy/appreciate Chongqing more as a whole. Very fun
Glad to hear! And great run. That was a nice way to get the dongle, though it’s not a necessary item since there’s another easy way to the security room.
Alright then, keep your secrets
Huh, never knew that was there learn something new everyday
Hint: You can climb a ledge.
Well, I failed the contract after resorting to panic strats to get the analyst out of the break room (I had no poison except for a grenade, and he preferred a trash can in the same room…). The panic strat itself worked surprisingly, but moving the body did not go well…
Will try again later for non-official fun, but it seems like a good challenge .
I just brought a screwdriver. It’s why my time is so high, lol. Couldn’t find one.
Are you talking about the first security room? You don’t need anything for that vent, you can always open it with your camera. I meant the tier 2 room.
Really? I thought you needed a blue dongle. IIRC I tried that and it didn’t work without the dongle. Could be misremembering.
Yeah, you can watch TheContractor’s run posted earlier.
I did not follow the rules.
A fairly accurate recreation of how I recreated the contract. The only thing I changed was getting the Tier 3 dongle so I could use the camera exit. (Though I feel I should mention that technically my first attempt at recreating it ended with the entire facility on alert and getting shot to death by a million angry guards. )
I didn’t realize that you can shoot the second guard there and leave the body be. The others don’t really move around.
Siekering that lady at the control panel seems to be a popular strat, I just gassed the whole room because the guy will always stay there. It’s very easy to get the rat poison from the nearby bathroom.
Here’s my run. I followed the rules.
An awesome 168,498 SA score. Finally, a perfect run in this contest.
Man, this one made me discover and like H3’s level design even more!
There’s ledges in the Facility you can use to get around some locked doors! Man, I love how Swiss-cheesy this entry is!
I nearly forgot about the No Pacifications complication twice (once when starting the level - brought a sedative, another when about to throw an item). And I hope wearing the final target’s disguise isn’t illegal (since he’s an infected guy). It doesn’t say we can’t use it.
Edit: It looks like I’m winning. Oh no I’m winning!
Normally, this would be great, since I’ve got a contract on the backburner I’ve been waiting to use.
But I’ve still got some editing to do for my briefing. While I’d love to have something fun to look at, if I can’t finish it, tomorrow I might just release it audio-only then.
Very nicely done. Lol that analyst kill, the lady was too busy throwing up to hear you shoot the guy. And yes, it’s allowed to use the targets’ clothes, even if they’re infected as well.
This was a close one, but you win @TheChicken, congrats! The second place goes to @TheContractor with a 17 second difference.
Alright, I should be able to post the contract here later today. (I’d say around 7:30-8:00pm ET)
I’m at school all day until late today, so that’s that. (‘School on a Saturday?’ You might ask. That’s theatre for you…)
Just a heads up that I’ll be uploading a video briefing with it. It’s gonna be very rough. But hopefully whatever storyboards I added in should give you something of an idea of what it should have looked like, if I had the experience and skill required for it.
My ambitions were way too high, my access to resources was way too limited and my free time to give to it was too low when I conceived of this.
(Just know this: “It looked better in my head.” )
If you want to know where you’ll be going: New York. Expect a lot of bank B-roll in the video.
Deadline?
I need to recreate this for Xbox.
