The strange thing is, when I go to PlayStation store and find HITMAN 3 Deluxe Edition
It shows “Buy 79.99$” and not “Purchased” like my HITMAN 2
This makes me think to main problem is PlayStation itself and IOI
Can you guys check that as well? I want to see if I’m the only one with this situation and maybe it really doesn’t have anything to do with this problem. Maybe it’s just a common mistake in the PlayStation store which happens when you Pre Order a game.

And my PS’s SSD went down the other day and I can’t do anything these days. My whole work was on my PC. And now I just sleep and sometimes try HITMAN 3 to see that if anything’s changed

I decided to replay Hitman 1 and 2 into the lead up to 3.
Finished 2 today so I haven’t actually attempted to play 3 until today for the first time. Avoided the forum altogether but when I saw that message and how many other people haven’t even played it from Wednesday I’m kinda bummed.
You too? The game worked well all day. Then it started to stutter extremly and i closed the game. Since then i cannot connect anymore online. I already deleted the save files, but still the same problem
Does it work on your other accounts? If it does. That solution mentioned earlier might fix the problem

What’s really annoying is I haven’t seen anything from IOI or PS about any of it.

To anyone who is having this profile issue, did you import your H2 data, and did you experience an error during the process?
I feel like part of the game not syncing the right profile to your PSN account might have to do with the data transfer bugging out halfway through before IOI manually kicks it back into gear.
Nothing to do with it at all considering I couldn’t get in before the transfer and the transfer went smoothly and I still can’t get it

P.S.: Gotta admit… would be a clever way to take heat off the problem… even if later activating online will overwrite what we saved offline. I think we’d all find that a better situation.
Well, aren’t you able to save offline anyway? It’s just that Online and Offline progress isn’t shared (as it is written on the opening logos when you boot up the game “Note that Online and Offline functionalities are not shared…”
The problem with doing anything offline at this stage is that by the time the Online service is fixed and you connect to it, all that progress will be irrelevant and gone.
Edit: Oops. Didn’t read your P.S. comment first. Having a way to merge Offline and Online progress would be nice…
No. There is no Mastery Progress Offline.
lol that would never happen, its easier for them to just figure out how to fix over the next several days or weeks, and then fix it and as soon as everything is fine announce an elusive target or some kind of update for the game to get everyone to shut up.

It really depends on what you mean by an error?
I like most people who tried to do the Carryover Progression at launch were having trouble for hours to get connected and for it to get done. I even had to reset my password which took a while. But however when I was finally able to get into it and do the whole link thing, it went smoothly.
I just wanna play my damn game. 🥲
On the Carryover site, there was a chance that after you filed a request for your data to transfer, it would eventually come up with the “Error” status, and by that point it was up to IOI to find it in the queue and do… something to get the transfer working smoothly again.
I’m just thinking that maybe the error de-synced some code related to the IOI account and that’s why it won’t connect to the Console account.
But, as someone else said, that might not be the case.
I don’t know, maybe everyone’s just got different problems with their profile fetching so it’s not one single issue causing it for everyone?
We can all play it. We just can’t unlock anything. Also in an attempt to kill spoilers my nephew wanted to do the final mission without unlocks.
So I told him: “You get one attempt.”
He basically John Wick-ed the level…blinded whole squads with the Fuse+Lights traps… frag grenades… pistol head shots…on Master difficulty.
I knew it was over when he detached the train cars… oh well now I know how it ends. Hahaha.
(I can only imagine how he would have torn the Asylum in half in CODENAME 47…)
I have not been able to sign in at all yet either. I have a PS5 with both the PS4 and PS5 versions of Hitman 3 and can’t get on anything. VERY frustrating.
