Playstation Connectivity Issues

It has been almost been 3 days since the last time i went online. I have been playing offline and just notice that i cant access a single escalation not even the deluxe ones and the holiday hoarders and snow festival missions are nowhere to be seen. Those anyone else lost all this while offline?

I don’t believe Escalations are available offline.

Holiday Hoarders and the Hokkaido Snow Festival aren’t in H3. I would imagine they’ll be released eventually, but that’s just speculation on my part. (I know I miss my Santa Suit. :santa:)

@.Quinn defends IOI as she understands their efforts and attempts at fixing every issue that comes by, you on the other hand, are incapable of waiting a minimal amount of time, the equivalent attention span of a 5 year old.

maybe if you didnt come from some mainstream game having everything fixed within a couple minutes :man_facepalming:

Tried the delete local files, unplug PS4, restore licences thing… and… no change.

Still waiting on @Travis_IOI for an update.

I also tried the PS4 guide with uninstalling, unplugging etc., but I still don’t get beyond the Fetching Profile “Connection Error” message. Incredibly frustration not being able to play this game 4½ days after release.
And to top it off, I’m Danish - and not very proud of IOI at the moment.

We shouldn’t be needing to unplug or delete anything and ioi should definitely not be trying to give us this advice either what they need to do is fix whatever the problems are and fast because this is going to affect them quite a bit

Agreed, but since these steps had solved the problems for some other PS4 players it was worth a try. But I wasn’t too optimistic, and with good reason it turns out.

I did this two days ago and when I went on it didn’t do anything but not just that it also got rid of all my items suits and mastery levels on each mission and I didn’t get them back until I was online for an hour before it shut down again

This is why having to have an online connection for a single player game is pathetic and pointless.

The uninstall approach didn’t work for me at all, and I can do nothing but waiting for IO’s ‘mercy’
The only good news is that Hitman franchise ends with 3. I will never pay a single coin for any online-required single-player game, no matter what it is.

Same bullshit for me as well after reinstalling (on PC) made me able to play the game for 1 hour (Romania mission) right up to ending before being able to kill the target SA/SO… it disconnects AGAIN.
FFS!. IOI please how long do yout hink this can possibly stay this way? And why does this problem occur only now after I played this game for about 20 hours?

I’m on standard ps4 & didn’t get the game until Friday(delivery issues)

I guess I’m one of the lucky ones, only having a few minor issues but I thought I’d share my experience.

I started the game after claiming my access passes & followed the prompt to transfer my progress which went through fine in a few minutes.(I’d made sure I had access to my ioi account the prior week before release as I’d seen they’d added the need for a password)

The only issues I’ve had are a handful of messages saying I’ve lost connection which was quickly solved by pressing reconnect/retry

The more major one at least for me was being unable to access the server when finishing a mission.
I’d go to the exit of a level & leave the game & was unable to connect to the score screen & would ask me to retry or quit.
I loaded a save from that level playthrough & tried finishing the level again & got the same issue.

The game would reconnect once I quit out to the main menu & pressed ‘Go online’ though.

After playing through the level again from the start I was able to finish it fine so I’m wondering if the issue was connected to that particular save.
I play with AutoSave off but had made a few seperate saves during the ‘Lost’ playthrough & reloaded a few times.
In total I’d probably spent a few hours playing that playthrough at that point.

Since with AutoSave off & making less saves per mission I’ve had no issues.

I’m not saying AutoSave or saving is relevant to any issue it’s just been my experience.

I preordered the Deluxe Edition for the PS4 Pro, and had the same carryover problems everyone else did on launch. (IO could have handled it better, but at this point I just assume launch day for any game is always going to be rough.) The next day, I was able to connect, carryover and play with no issues. It worked fine for about 36hrs, but this entire weekend I cannot connect. I’m starting to get pretty irritated.

I have not been able to run Hitman 3 online at all. On the 20th, the carry-over process did not go smoothly at all, but did eventually clear up and things appeared okay, but kept failing when trying to connect after the fetching profile part.

Going on the theory that the day 1 carry-over process corrupted my Hitman 3 online profile, I went through the following steps:

  • created a new Playstation profile on my console, H3-Agent47 and played Hawke’s Bay on Hitman 2 which got me to level 5 mastery
  • made sure IOI account linked in Hitman 2
  • Logged in to Carry Over site
  • waited a few minutes and confirmed carry over finished without any issues (unlike day 1)
  • launched Hitman 3 on Ps4 – server connected without delay, trophies popped

The next step I would take if I could would be to erase my online Hitman 3 profile and redo the carry-over process.

I don’t how long this fix would last though since from what has been posted, some people were playing H3 fine, and have since developed problems and can no longer connect. It’s unclear whether it’s also online-profile corruption, or possibly something completely different with similar symptoms.

Not sure if the carry over process during D1 is the problem. I bought the game this Friday and did the carry over while the PS4 was downloding the patch. I haven’t been able to connect even once.
