I was able to play a little more of Dubai before getting disconnected, so Ill take it Lol.

Oddly enough, I got disconnected shortly after making a manual save. Not sure if that matters though.

It definitely is. I thought the carry over was the wrost part, but now…

Kindly list down ANY differences between you and your friend’s configuration for example:

  1. Did you both buy the same HITMAN 3 edition? (Standard vs Deluxe)
  2. Did you both own HITMAN 2016 and HITMAN 2?
  3. Did you perform a Progress Carryover?
  4. Which Access Passes, if any did you claim?
  5. Do your PS4 Profiles both have logged progress in HITMAN 2016 and HITMAN 2 - as in you logged time on either or both games - with Mastery and other Progress saved?

Hmmm… I wonder if @n0rric can try this also on the “blank/virgin” PS4 profile.

1.Platform: both on PS4pro
2.Game version: both digital deluxe version
3.Region: he’s US, mine’s UK
4.Carryover: both finished, but he got it done the first day.
5.Access Passes: both claimed

I’ve got into the servers twice today at my first connection attempt within the last three hours or so by closing the game, deleting the data and then relaunching the game on PS5.

I tried deleting save file, reinstalling game and verifing psn lisences, not none of them workk

This is a curious one.

This PS4 Profile is also your main one? as in:

“Your PS4 Profile that owns/bought the game, that was linked to an IOI Account from which you performed a Progress Carryover and was linked in turn to all your HITMAN series game profiles, and is the same PS4 profile that you used to play any previous HITMAN game (2016 or H2) with actual Mastery Progress.”

Issues started once carryover was completed. Prior to that, not a single issue at all (was playing prior to the digital launch with a disc).

Was just browsing Twitter when I noticed this.

This kinda confirms it’s something of a mismatch between IOI’s Servers and our consoles. Likely tied to account names.

Well, Sony does say that changing PSN ID’s isn’t guaranteed to completely fuck things up.

The only real difference between your situation and @REPUBLICAN1992 would be:

“Possible differences in the H1/H2 Progress Carryover data.”

And that would be just for issues/differences between two HITMAN 3 buyers… with somewhat similar problem but not quite (since you are able to log back in by deleting local data).

Did some tinkering w/deleting save data and got on yet again.

However, I exited the application, came back, and got the error message.

So, went ahead and deleted the data, and it worked but it seems that the moment you either exit out of the game or make a save is when you get disconnected and/or get the error message.

This was on my main account.
