I am stuck on “preparing to apply patch” with a certain mod. Can anyone help out?

the apk mods are really not that much different like this one, can everyone check it again

Can you say that again but in English?

Running mod diagnostics - don’t leave this page…

Active loading indicator

We’re checking all the mods you have installed for possible issues. This shouldn’t take too long.

Is around an hour “too long”?

Up to date (version 2.2.2)

Offline Mode Enhanced + Custom Mission Pack is up to date

Focus is up to date

NPCs Wake Up is up to date

Offline Image Pack is up to date

Realistic AI is up to date

The Vector - Sandbox Mode is up to date

Time Of Day Mod is up to date

They all had :ballot_box_with_check: , but I was wanting to update the Chongqing Noodle Massacre.

I don’t think I have any of those mods active.

That doesn’t use the auto update system because of its filesize. I’m too lazy to find a thingo to host stuff that’s over 100mb

What am I supposed to do if I get the infinite deployment glitch? Modder says just to wait for a new tool to be fixed but that was 6 months ago… Are you telling me the mod is totally screwed for some random people without any kind of workaround?

Man, I miss the old days when I could just mod Hitman by dropping the chunk0 into the folder and that was it.

Dependency cycle (couldn’t sort mods)

The framework couldn’t sort your mods! Ask the developer of whichever mod you most recently installed to investigate this. Also, report this to Atampy26 on Hitman Forum or Discord.

The only thing I did was drop that json file into the Chongqing noodle massacre folder (that was inside the mods folder). I’m assuming that’s what I had to do with it since just putting it in the mods folder didn’t require me to overwrite anything.

Before that, I have no clue what it would’ve been. It had a place to click ‘OK’ but the message stayed there and I had to X out of SMF2.

Well, I’m going to just delete and redownload it, maybe disable a couple of others, and see if that gives SMF2 a more agreeable disposition.

Edit: All (enabled) mods deployed. :+1:

QuickEntity versions prior to 3 are much slower; you can upgrade easily for a significant performance benefit!

I see this while applying mods… Is there something I should do?

No, that’s a message to us mod creators that Atampy has put in there for players to see to have them shame us into updating into his new format

But I will not be peer pressured!

begins to apply peer pressure

The message about waiting for the tool to be fixed was added a week ago, not six months ago. There’s nothing you can do except replacing the rpkg-cli file in Third-Party with an older version of the RPKG tool (https://glaciermodding.org).

@Atampy26 I updated SMF to version 2.6.0. and now I’m constantly getting the same error when I try to apply mods. Seems to happen with every mod, even with no enabled mods.
Can you help please?

The text reads in full:

The path C:\snapshot\ does not exist on my machine.

I’ve released an update that should fix this.

Thank you for looking into it so quickly

Unfortunately, the error still occurs for me, even with the new update (2.6.1).

I’ve updated SMF though the program itself, but I’ve also tried a fresh download of the latest version from Github. Both was unsuccessfull.

The text in my previous post was from when I tried applying 0 enabled mods. Here is the text from trying to apply “Realistic AI”. Maybe it helps.

The error is indeed gone now. Thanks for the quick fix

How do i fix this
Engine Version: 3.110.1.0
Build ID: 5894578

image

Its both the newest version, ill do a lil explanation and back story
So I downloaded both things from Nexus, the game from NexusGames and the framework from NexusMods, and a few months earlier with an older version of the framework it was kinda weird because when i deployed the mods it would still say the same thing “deploy failed update the game and the framework etc” but the mods still got applied (it was SMF mods not RPKG) but at some point the framework would get into a loop of staging one mod and it stopped working, then i deleted everything in connection with the game and framework and downloaded the newest files but it didn’t work like it used to be, the old version would always loop and the newest doesnt apply the mods and i don’t know how to fix it

What is “NexusGames”
