Twelve Minutes: releases August 19 2021.
YES (I was expecting a late Fall release)
Mexico it is! Cars and environment looks stunning as always. The game will be available on Nov 9th this year with Xbox Game Pass.
Game Demo here. Well I think it’s now all about multiplayer. Funny thing is it doesn’t resemble its ancient FH1 anymore.
Ayy Hitman Sniper: The Shadows presentation on the Square Enix stream.
I’m not that interested, but I’m all for more Jane Perry.
How very… mediocre. Has cashgrab written all over it.
lol. Square Enix own the IP, they exclusively licensed it to IO, then IO sub-licensed it back to SE so they could make it.
I watched the YT video before reading the rest of your post, and I was already composing a sentence saying exactly the same thing in my head.
Good for Ms Perry, she has done a simply phenomenal job with her contributions to the Hitman franchise to date.
Bullshit like this makes some Lawyers rich. Oh and Hakan can add a new golden Helicopter to his collection.
How many golden helicopters does this man need?
Okay, so, uh, the Eidos Guardians game was just previewed… From the looks of it, I’m very mixed.
…Don’t mind me, I’m just a very big fan of the modern Guardians characters.
- The game looks very inspired by the modern comics/MCU look. Okay, something familiar to draw me in.
- Music plays a big part once again. I love me some music.
- I’m not a fan of the voices. I might just need to get used to them, but with the stellar movie cast and Telltale Games’ great attempt at re-creating it in their game a few years ago (Nolan North is a VA god), these totally original takes, accents, inflections of the characters is off-putting.
- The character designs look way too busy. Gamora looks the less busiest-design, and she really stands out because of it. It’s strange.
- The graphics on environments and detail on the characters is impressive, though. Not gonna lie about that.
- The gameplay is a third-person shooter/RPG-style combat system. So, damage numbers, levelling, buffs, etc. Not my kind of game. Looks like you only play as Star-Lord
but can tell other characters to assist in combat.
- There’s a mechanic used where you blare out the speakers on Peter’s mixtape for a boost to you and your teammates. Song used? A cut version of Joan Jett’s Bad Reputation. Ooh.
- The game looks like it’s a full-fledged single-player story experience. None of that MMORPG fluff from Avengers, with a games-as-a-service schedule that inevitably fails if the game flops.
- Surprisingly, they seem to be heavily inspired by the themes of dysfunctional family that grinds the Guardians together and mayyyybe Telltale Games’ rendition – where there’s dialogue choices in cutscenes! I don’t think any of them have a major effect on the story, (since the player chose one thing, and later the opposite happened), but it’s interesting that we’ll dive into clearing up the family bickering once again.
I’ll keep this one on my radar, but I’m not too impressed or interested in it being a must-buy game.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy | Gameplay First Look
I can’t be the only one that felt MS underwhelmed right? Like nothing they did got me excited save for Psychonauts 2.
Compared to the rest of the events at least they had games to show, Summer Game Fest was ok but the rest like Ubisoft and such were nothing but a borefest, all talk and no substance
Well it’s good enough for me with Forza Horizon 5 announced, but that’s just me who always gets overdosed on racing games.
But none of them really grabbed me besides Psychonauts 2.
Yeah, I thought you would like that. I am not fond of racing games but Horizon 3 is one of the like five games set in Australia.
i will be folliowing this game, considering the trailers did a good job at convincing me this will maybe be slightly better then avengers. And I’m cautiously optimistic sqenix learned from avengers to make this game an actual fun romp through the gotg universe rather then it being a cash cow to milk for years.
Who, MS? I saw plenty of gameplay in there, I’ve seen more gameplay of FC6 which Ubi only showed a cutscene.
The only stinker from MS is Redfall. That was CGI nonsense.
I guess I expected more from MS, I had thought they were going to have the best showing at E3 (aside from Nintendo) but I felt kind of let down.
Wasn’t Starfield practically CGI (I know it said Alpha footage)? I have no hope that the game will actually look like that or come out in 2022. This is E3 and they are Bethesda.
Haha, I think we had a conversation about Ute before. They are beautiful machines, and I am glad the game included them as well as Australian market-only cars. But, I bet you will likely enjoy an open-world adventure game taking place in Australia, rather than just driving, no?
