I don’t think many people are obsessed with mastery levels, they are angry because IOI said that there’ll be 20 mastery levels per map.

The best part is that they updated WC and New York, so that all the Hitman 1 and 2 locations have 20 levels, yet dont have one on HB and Romania.

It’s quite ironic that despite “Negativity towards Hitman 3” being the most popular topic of the last few weeks, I have barely seen any negativity online towards Hitman 3 (including this topic)

In response to the OP, they’ll always be people that aren’t satisfied with games. I think IOI have had really positive feedback with all the ‘World of Assassination’ trilogy.
Even if Hitman 3 gets some bad reception (which I don’t think it will looking at gameplay ), 47 will definitely be back regardless in years to come.

Yeah, I think the 007 game is to help them secure more funds as an indie again and to keep the HITMAN franchise from going stale. I am all for it.

Or maybe the will gain so much money they forget about their main saga (which is niche and not so big on sales) and go full James Bond / Other games… 
I would not mind a few Bond games, but I would be very upset if this is the very last HITMAN title.
IOI is just temporarily walking away from the hitman series. They will obviously come back

They have hinted it will be shelved for a bit but not without support. Don’t let that stop you from enjoying the game on your own terms.
Yeah I agree, at least we’ve got Hitman 3 to keep us busy in the meantime
