i think a lot of people just were prepared for H3 to have 6 levels with 20 mastery each. the Trailer Guy said “20 mastery tracks per location” or something like that, so i guess people ran with that.
personally, i was prepared for a level 5 mastery location after the Hawkes Bay debacle… i guess others werent
remember how many contracts people made there on release? oh…
and i didn’t enjoy it. it has one disguise, boring layout(because the beach is just grass and grass and grass), the target doesn’t even have a routine. making a tutorial level in the middle of the game was a terrible idea as well especially since the original ones are free and this one doesn’t actually teach anything worthy
when the game has only 6 levels the size of each one is of great importance for replayability. it measures the general size but also the starting locations and agency pickups. unlocks too but them i can take or leave most of the time. 5 mastery isn’t 4 times less content than 20, it’s 50 times less content when you judge from previous experience. we’ve had hawkes bay as an example of how little does a 5 mastery map has to offer. it’s very likely that romania will have even less since it’s a train and they are, you know, kinda linear. the worst offender is that they explicitly lied about every level being big in multiple places. it being small doesn’t mean i won’t enjoy it but the amount of time spent there will be nowhere near the time spent in hokkaido, for example
That’s nothing compared the sawn-off shotgun bug Wich distress the arm of 47, one shot every two miss the target almost always with every weapon except sniper, sometimes you can’t pick up the things cause the icon disappear, npc falling in to the water sounds bad in miami and Sapienza ecc, the game crashes sometimes. This it’s happening all in PS4, totally unplayable.
Thing is myself and i think other players don’t play Nightcall too much. There’s no much thing to do and it’s certainly a waste of a map, except visually, at least for me.
But i’m in if they make bonus missions there or make me see that the map is actually replayable
I am obsessed with mastery levels because I want my “toys.”
That does not mean I stop playing a level. In HITMAN 3, I still need to see the Kraken, get the special racing outfit, etc. But I may go to the next (Legacy) level after hitting 20 because I wanna get to HITMAN 3 as fast as possible. I am gonna play the game in order because things like the Sieger 300 Ghost, Krugermeier 2-2 and Santa 47 disguise are essential parts of who I am as a HITMAN player.
But yeah, I still plan to play everything after finishing the new story.
The game crashes and all that bugs and i still have problem with jambiya unlock so yes that makes me pissed of so yes. At least the 1st hitman crashes as well but didn’t had all this problems i was always disposed to restart the game, but Hitman2 drive me crazy.
Santa 47 challenges are one of the most (if not the most) horrible things i’ve tried to do in Hitman. I’ve still not done them all. Worse than Tuppence a Wish and all those things that are just about watching a video to get them done. The Santa 47 challenges need a lot of waiting, luck and re-loading.
i’m not telling you how you should feel, man. i’d be pissed too if that was my experience. i’ve had bugs too but i just don’t agree “unplayable” is either accurate or useful as a descriptor, especially if you have been playing it.
