Why, that’s just gameplay and story segregation. While we can move and leave things about willy-nilly and can’t close the refrigerator entrance, 47 wouldn’t leave his things except exactly where they’re supposed to be, and he would always close that door behind him. So, those cameras are actually showing us the canonical reality within the safehouse, and our personal actions are the ones fucking with 47’s preferences.
How would your canonical 47 test whether the cameras are working as they should?
My 47 is an absolute slob with pizza boxes on the kitchen counter, an unmade bed, and a closet full of casually tossed clothing and I won’t hear any argument with it!
He’d roll back footage of things he did at particular times to make sure it was recorded.
But he’s still suited and booted when he leaves the Safehouse right?
Nope, @schatenjager’s 47 is never suited and booted, he’s just couching and slouching. And if he’s not paying attention on the job he’ll end up scattered and splattered.
I believe @schatenjager is an anti tie guy, but still believes in suits and other nice clothes sometimes. So I imagine his 47 is like a 24 year old guy going to the clubs on a Saturday. $500 shirt and expensive cologne but if he brings anyone back to his place they will die in the morning when they see what a frat house of a disaster he lives in
No ties, ever. Boots are ok though. Heck, I personally wore combat boots for 20 years daily.
My personal style is tactical jacket with hat in daily life so the Colorado with hat is a perfect fit.
So in other words you envision a 47 who’s driving and moving, sailing and spinning, jiving and grooving, whaling and winning.
Well his 47 is like that I think. Mine is kinda boring. Everything is nice and tidy and he doesn’t do much for fun. I give him only as much personality as IO gives him which is a bit more now than it used to be. He plays chess for fun between missions, works out*, and sucks at keyboard. My 47 does like nice things though and only wears comfy clothing when absolutely required for the mission.
*I used to think he didn’t have to work out. Maybe he still doesn’t? He just likes it? Who knows?
Same. My 47 is like a less angry Batman, with everything revolving around keeping himself in top shape physically, mentally, and in his environment and personal surroundings. He is all business all the time when dealing with people, lives perfection in all he does, and only allows himself to be vulnerable and a “normal” human when all alone, where he entertains himself.
That’s exactly how 47 should be!
I find the 47 in the safehouse pretty sad. Still taking his cue from a voice in his ear, contenting himself with toys to put on his shelf, laying fully clothed on his bed staring at the ceiling. A sad man. His material wealth is no match for the loneliness crushing his soul. The empty chairs around the dining table, a fireplace that burns for nobody, a limited soundtrack to drown out the silence. The shed is his only ongoing project, the abyss awaits when he dares finish it, so he lingers on the same spot. It’s a tragedy waiting to happen.
What do you expect for a guy who exists to kill other people when asked/ordered to from a 3rd party?
Future mastery levels should provide him with companionship:
Level 105: Family photos of his five daddies
Level 110: a real canary (not a painted pigeon)
Level 150: a labrador or a black cat
Level 200: a prostitute (Lei Ling)
Level 250: two prostitutes (Lei Ling and Sandy)
Level 500: a housemate who sleeps on the couch (Agent Smith)
Level 750: Lukas Grey’s ghost in the mirror
Level 1000: you know what goes here
Yea it’s bleak when you think about it.
He needs to get a girlfriend and get into a Friday night poker game with a funny group of guys.
At least he has the perfect poker face
Not so sure that’s a good idea considering how mastery increase rate slows drastically as it gets higher. Challenges should be introduced for anyone who has reached Mastery 100 such as beating showdowns in Colorado or eliminating all suspects except the leader.
Or the twins: Lei Ling and Mei Ling.
Oh right, they’re the same person, 47 just forgot her name.
Hasn’t 47 always been one of those guys who just prefers his own company? Personally, I don’t think he gives a fuck and just enjoys the peace and quiet in the Safehouse and the surrounding area outside
I’d love living there!
