“I’d be lying if I said I didn’t regret some part of this. It’s safe to say I don’t pick my allies for their congeniality, but they aren’t all like Noel. There are good people here. People who want the same thing we want… But now’s not the time to get sentimental.”
When did he say this. I have heard nearly all dialogue in AI but I can’t recall this.
I’m not sure about what triggers it, but this is what I did:
I killed the two targets and destroyed the satellite control unit. Than I investigated the computer in the cave, next to the satellite control unit and after that you have to wait several minutes and he will start this dialogue.
It would be much more to regret if there would be a bigger diversity IMO. The militia guards on Ambrose Island all look the same, I’m not even sure, if they have different faces (@DrMekar can say that I guess?), but they all have the same outfit. At least the pirates have a bit of variations in their outfits.
And still no female guards, whyyyy? Since Grey had female employees like Graves and Parvati, I am sure he would also rely on female guards.
They don’t have a ton of variation yeah, only a few faces, at least uniform wise I could understand them having the same but a bit of variation here and there like someone having a different pouch, no beanie etc… would’ve been great
Female guards would need tons of new voice lines for their unique guards lines but not impossible otherwise, I’m on the team who thinks that having female guards/fat NPCs is great because it adds more limitations for disguises
I will just assume that there normally would have been female guards in Colorado but Grey send them on a holiday to Vegas because one of them will get married and they are having a huge bachelorette party at his expense
Well no there aren’t but it wouldn’t be too difficult to make them, and I guess for voice lines Absolution has like 1 female guard so maybe could reuse a few of those
They do, though you may be forgiven for thinking
they don’t since in particular head_caucasian_40s_05 and 40s_06 look quite similar. (For reference, that’s the two Guys who you beat at the slapping Contest, before the bearded Guy.) Speaking of him, let me break down the Faces real quick.
Slapping Contest Player 1: head_caucasian_40s_06
Slapping Contest Player 2: head_caucasian_40s_05
Slapping Contest Player 3: head_base (Jim)
Caucasian Guard who chats about the Antenna with the African Guy sitting in the Chair:
head_caucasian_40s_04 (Jason) &
head_african_20s_02 (Pierce)
Enforcer who leans against a ledge when entering the Main Part of Ruins when coming from the Antenna head_caucasian_50s_01 (Marvin/Kurt)
Asian Guard who escorts Crest: head_asian_30s_01 (Kenji)
I do find the Militia Guards Clone Rate less annoying actually, possibly because they give me some Paris CICADA Vibes, possibly because there Faces include the way to rarely used head_caucasian_40s_06 and 05, as well as Marvin and especially Jason, who by now, became one of my Favorites (My Pixelart Version of him even made it to the Top 10 of my personal favorites, despite the fact that he’s still pretty new.)
True, so I don’t really have the Time to get on my PC in the Morning. Still, let me use your Picture to explain:
I triggered that dialog when i took down the two guards near the cells in the ruins, just as i was putting the second one in the box. He definitely made me feel bad for doing that.
Despite his past, he consider these men with humanity despite being on the mission.
I’m just thinking that the name is kinda overused. In previous games 47 used many different aliases, but in the WoA trilogy he sticks to that name for some reason, and it got kinda annoying after a while.
