Yeah well, my contract has the consumed poison kill, not just any poison kill.
This route would take the longest if you tried it on my contract. So basically, sound mix route should be the fastest route on this particular contract.

As @scat1620 posted in the Chongqing China mission 4 location discussion topic, the Hitman twitter account just posted an image from this location with a different design for the Facility Guards disguise.
I believe it could be a beta version of the outfit, where the security clearance was indicated only via an armband, where in the current version it’s via a badge.
Looking further I realised that where the posted disguise is all black, the current one have on it the colours of its own security clearance, facilitating identification and clearance mechanic visibility.
Maybe the change was made to have a smoother design and a better understanding/lecture flow in the level.
All the ICA Facility disguises are colour coded this way :
Facility Security, level 1 access. Blue badge, blue beret, blueish shirt, blue patches
Facility Analyst, level 2 access. Yellow badge, yellow tie
Facility Guards, level 2 and 3 access. Yellow and red badge (armband in the twitter image), yellow fourragere, red shoulders, red beret
Facility Engineer, level 3 access. Red outfit
Designers ! They’re doing their job well.
It’s pretty clear that IO changed those bodyguards, they look just like the Dubai ones, which themselves had a better design than the beret one, no idea why they decided to have both look almost identical
Funnily enough, when I checked the disguise after Scat1620 post (to see if it was an update), I also looked into the Dubai guards to see if any of them had an armband (none of them, this part was unique)
So I just discovered that (to my own surprise) the Facility Guard outfit and the Dubai ones are actually different.
(but you are right that the Facility Guard Disguise is a reskin : it’s the Military Officer disguise from Marrakesh, the Dubai outfits were brand new though)
Yeah, they are different, but very close in design, compared to the “original” look:

also as a side-note I guess this is still interesting to mention, since not many people might know about it, the guards in Sgail also had a different outfit and because IO forgot to update the images we can actually see what it looked like:
Never saw them, that’s interesting.
(the original one for Dubai looks like a nightmare for climbing animation and the wind physics though).
Not for you, but if anyone wishes to see a comparison between the disguises (rereading your reply @Luiluix you already knew that they were close but not the same, but I just found that out tonight, which is just the thing for this topic) :
You can actually see the beta uniform design on some of the challenge pictures (in fact, I think the image from Twitter is one of them, the other one shows the uniform from the front). I posted about it earlier this year, also in the Chongqing thread I think.
Still not sure how I feel about the red beret and shoulder marks. At the very least, the should’ve dropped the shoulder cord. It’s what makes it look so similar to the Dubai disguise, and it makes absolutely no sense for a security guard uniform to have it.
Side note about the Marrakesh officer disguise, I think the beret is tilted to the other side on that one
(edit: confirmed by the comparison you just posted)
The aiguillettes (or fourragere if you want) are the reason I genuinely believed before tonight that Dubai and Chongqing were the same.
(your original posts were in January and have more image and discussions for anyone who wishes to see them)
The yellow accent however does allow to showcase the level 2 access from a distance, I guess that’s why it was changed.
Also a bit of uniform pedantism : fourragere are supposed to have a metal tip (hence the other term : aiguillette, which is also the origin of the word aglet in english)
Ah! and I just found this in the files on the facility guards
And there is also one left for the analysts
but going all the way up the file hierarchy and it returns to the facility guards
Ah, I knew it had a weird f-starting French name, but couldn´t remember what it was
But yeah, it´s especially that that evokes the similarity (along with the red beret), even if the two uniforms are actually vastly different in many ways.
Hm, that makes sense. Didn´t actually occur to me how all the facility disguises are designed with visual cues denoting their access level. Pretty cool work on part of the designers. But I still wish they had implemented the yellow in a different form than the fourragere. Both because of the similarity to the Dubai uniforms as well as the military/ceremonial nature of it which just doesn´t fit a security guard uniform like that.
Today I learned that Roberto Vargas, Caruso’s golf coach, probably uses Silvio’s face model from old Sapienza:
You can see that the jaw and facial hair is the same in both pictures.
They use that dumpster in many maps, just that they remove the Paris decals, sometimes they forgot to
After watching videos from @Ha-DOOOOOOOU-ken and his speedruns, I discovered that you can use the concussion duck to open locked doors. Good way to open them without drawing attention.
This angle reminds me Michael from GTA5
That’s the best angle I could get of alpha Silvio’s face
when you’re in the starting suit in Hokkiado, this guard has different ways of saying “you look sick, you should go back to your room”, instead of simply saying, “you’re not allowed here”. i’d never noticed it before, it’s quite specific dialogue. possibly the nicest guard in this game haha.
