I find this odd. I would say 99% of all duvets in Denmark are down comforter. You can get fiber filling or nature filling (which is just a more “green” down comforter). The other kinds are a lot more expensive.

I just put on my down filled blanket last week. They are great in winter. 
Kinda strange you never heard of at least feather pillows. Must be me who did not imagine they are uncommon somewhere.
Down feathers variants are more expensive than feathers though.

Fuck me I considered the blanket as a mattress, and yes, had no idea about blankets aswell I guess… does a feather blanket even keep you warm?

It does indeed keep you nice and warm. I sleep with a summer duvet through the autumn and winter and bed sheet late spring and summer. They are great for keeping warm and cozy. The summer duvet is a bit too warm for me.
From posting weird WOA features now I’m considering buying a new blanket

It is really worth it but be aware you need a proper dryer after washing it. You can’t just hang it in the sun. Or give it to a laundry service.

Then it’s a no, sun is so strong out here, never using a dryer, oh well, regular blankets are fun aswell

Stateside the non down ones are available very cheaply at places like Target and WalMart.
