So many months or over a year ago… I found that you shouldn’t run into coconut dust that’s just freshly bonked somebody on the head… It’ll keel ya!
And today I find out that it’s not a good idea to stand under a sabotaged trap door. Vetrova walked onto it, fell through… And for whatever reason I was going to stand under it as she fell. Well, that kills you too.
TIL that when an NPC spots you doing something illegal and goes snitching to the nearest guard, you can throw a fruit at their head. When they get up, they’ll forget what they were doing and go back to their usual route like nothing happened
I only became consciously aware of something so obvious, I actually feel a bit stupid for having not noticed it sooner.
When you’re planning out a mission and selecting items, the items in the categories are in alphabetical order. For some reason from March 2016 until now, I thought they were just randomly listed and shoved in where ever.
When you enter reception at Isle of Sgáil, you can talk to female Architect, who will showcase you bunker. After that, you can distract her to toilet, and after knocking her out, you’ll get Iron Key, which can be used for iron gates on castle.
In Chongqing, near those 3(?) homeless people (one says he’s going to be rich), you can climb that scaffolding and go through the window. To the left on a box on the wall lies a fire extinguisher. Shoot this for easy Video Recorder destruction.
The flash effect of phone is really HUGE. When I tried it in Freelancer, it blinded whole patio of guests and bartender behind it!
EDIT: Also just remembered this video
Decided to stuff Orson in Alma’s closet. Saw him through the crack and decided to shoot him to see if he would die. He’s not dead and I didn’t lose SA. I know that you can’t kill npcs that are hidden in closets/crates but for some reason since I thought that it would make sense in this situation since Orson’s body was visible.
Does make you wonder what’s protecting him if you were to, say, set off an explosion next to him, or fill the room with poison. At least other NPCs being inside a container makes a little sense.
No one else can see bodies in that closet though. It’s weird hitman logic for sure, but knowing what we know about containers of any kind the fact that we can see him is just an artistic choice to make the level more interesting.
Holy crap. That’s an amazing find since in certain places (like the one in your video) that can be used to have bodies fall into places that will hide it without needing to drag them.
Say… Is that the FC submission by Version Omega (for the Comicbook Store FCs?)? Or the one that did get featured for the Munga Hitman Summer Holiday FCs? Because they’re the exact same contract.
After seeing @Switcher’s post above I did some experiments myself. Here’s what I found.
If 47 attacks an NPC with a melee weapon from behind, the NPC’s body will fall forward. If 47 is not standing directly behind an NPC, but a little bit to the side, there will be an animation that turns the NPC around a bit. This will affect the direction the body falls.
If 47 stands to the left of an NPC, they will fall to the right.
You can use that mechanic to hide bodies automatically.
I tested this with the kukri machete and the hobby knife on targets in Ambrose Island, Miami and Sapienza. Keep in mind that it might be different with other weapons or other targets than the ones I chose.
Voice actor of Robert Knox, Martin McDougall, appeared in lastest Indiana Jones movie, playing character I don’t actually remember. Does anyone know who was Voller’s henchman named Durkin? Was it guy in crutches, that got smashed by shelves?
