I’ve always wondered in Whittleton, who eats off the plate here when you place a muffin on it? Turns out, Cassidy’s bodyguard will eat off that plate.
learned awhile ago in freelancer if you distract the morgue doctor with turning out the lights and hopping on the autopsy table near the switch he’ll turn them back on, walk over to you, examine you write on his list, and walk away
Rewatching the world’s greatest film franchise (James Bond!) recently, I’ve noticed a few more Bond similarities/homages within Hitman games.
In For Your Eyes Only, the baddies who chase Bond in the ski resort wear dove lapel pins, just like the chaps in Providence. The biggest difference here, of course, is that Hitman isn’t allowed to be set in snow levels anymore:
The Tomorrow Never Dies opening titles, and the opening of Hitman: Contracts, both have a very similar shot of an x-ray gun being fired:
The setting of Thornbridge Manor bears strong similarities to Skyfall Lodge from…Skyfall, but this sign has got to be a direct homage, right?:
See you for Project 007, folks!
According to Hitmaps, the yoga instructor drinks beer at this spot. I knew he drank from a water bottle near the spa, so it’s strange to learn of a second drink. Would anyone happen to know what leads him to drink here?
Today I found out that David Bateson was featured in several songs and music videos by Ch!pz, a Dutch pop music group that became known for their Eurodance hits in the early 2000s.
Just listen to these bangers and let the wave of nostalgia wash over you
THIS is John Knox, reporting to you live from the crime scene.
Beat me to it, lol
Not sure if it’s just in Freelancer, but I never knew there was a free Exterminator disguise on this shelf in the laundry rm in Bangkok.
This disguise from one of the escalation
More specifically, it only appears in “The Asya Attunement”.
So you know that freelancer difficulty thats worse than hardcore? Well TIL that once you reach 99 on the trophy, if you use the laptop again it’ll reset it to… -0?
(Source Munga’s discord server, i have a life)
On the Iconoclast version of Mendoza there is an invitation to the party on the back of this white limo. But it’s not there in the normal Mendoza and that same limo is black.
So basically I can just get the invitation from there instead of stealing it from the guy who’s smoking, if I were to play the Iconoclast again at some point. I feel bad for that guy ngl
“we were unable to obtain an invitation for you, so you’ll need to be creative”
The invitation a meter away from 47:
Another interesting fruit tech: if a guard spots you trespassing and escorts you elsewhere, a fruit in their face will also make them forget about the fishy fella they just saw and they’ll go back to their post if you’re no longer around them
Also there’s this guy in Santa Fortuna who apparently never notices that I tranq’d his friend, that cooking show must be very interesting
Apparently the Whittleton Creek food plates aren’t for muffins only (or at least the one by the muffin stand is). Bananas are also placeable there. Idk about apples and grapes. Might test that in Freelancer whenever I play it again.
I know you can put a fish on the one in the Smith house and the one outside the barbecue party. Can you put a fish on the muffin stand table as well (and have it become a sushi)?
My first guess would be taking his disguise and letting him get woken up
Dartmoor has a “mission story” with the lawyer.
After getting the lawyer disguise and checking the laptop (can be made easy by walking in as a security guard and telling the other guard to leave) you get an option to talk with Alexa. Doing so will get her to follow you into the lawyer room, where she can be told that all assets have been taken by Edwards, including ownership of Thornbridge manor. After that she’ll look out of the nearby window for a bit (looked like an easy push kill, but didn’t try it myself) and sometime after she walked away I got the picture-in-picture for the family meeting taking place. Though at that point I went on with my initially planned route and didn’t listen for any new dialogue.
I knew there were some references to Mini Ninjas, another IO Interactive game with the Futo suit but I just found another small reference. Besides having the word Mini on the van it also has the logo symbol thingy from the game on the van. Mini Ninjas was one of my favorite games I played on the Wii as a kid. I love finding these little easter eggs about the game years later.
