Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

Yes, the moment Penelope is dead, her guards are dismissed and go into backyard for some R&R. It’s just if you kill her in the house they will path through the house and there’s a good chance they will find her.

Map: Bangkok
Mission: Club 27 (professional difficulty)

Ken Morgan is tasting the different plates of the buffet in a specific order.
From left to right: plate 3, plate 4, plate 2, plate 1, plate 5, plate 4, plate 2, plate 1, plate 5 and he next repeats the same cycle.

If the plates 1 to 3 are poisoned with an emetic, Morgan will vomit inside the kitchen, in a basket full of bread. If the plates 4 and 5 are poisoned, Morgan will this time throw up in the toilet.

I’ve tested the plate 4 and Morgan goes evnetually in the first toilet room (left one, where there is no cupboard to hide the body).
His bodyguard remains outside of the toilet room. 47 needs to subdue him before he stands by the wall, otherwise it’s impossible to subdue him (too close from the wall), and he’s not distracted by coins. If a weapon is left, he will ask to a guard to pick up the weapon.

Other NPCs are going to the toilet. A client is pissing from time to time in the left toilet. A cupboard is located in the right toilet where two NPCs are going (Jackie - the girl from room 207 - and a kitchen staff). If you want to kill Morgan with fiber wire, you need to consider the NPCs.

They’ve removed the basket vomiting spot, so he should always go to toilet now.

Unfortunately not.
Those four that meet with Abiatti near where the cameras can be turned off have their occupations listed probably for the same reason the people around the dolphin fountain/marina in Miami are labelled as “Casual Tourist”, just for description.

I tested it out and it turns out he drops a sedative syringe in Hitman 3 too! Still a strange inclusion given how little use the sedative syringe has, especially in Landslide

Ah-ha. H3 = Modern… But H1 was Antique. Nice that it’s back! :+1:

Nah, I’m pretty sure it was modern aswell. Still weird they gave him that syringe. Such a random item for him to have (well, he is surgeon so it makes some sense, but why would he carry it?)

I think it was just an experiment back in the early H2016 days. For some reason they didn’t want to give the Sedative syringe as an unlock for quite some time, but probably decided to include it here as sort of an easter egg item.

Some NPCs carry weapons, even poisons. Maybe there’s a backstory to it?

Well wtf? (at my brain) :joy:

Man! I’m going to be like that guy who had a breakdown over a phantom coin in the consulate garage. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

In some fairly recent patch IO did fix two band members in Bangkok drinking from the same wine glass in the closed-off bar room at the floor below 47’s suit. It was interesting because when one of the two dies by consumed poison, the glass is dropped and you can only use a syringe on the other to poison them both.

I swear every now and then in the past years I revisited them to see if I can make this a puzzle, as things are too easy if I just made a two-target poison contract. Today I had a fairly good idea, just to find out this is no longer the special situation it used to be. Either one never drinks anymore or there are two glasses. But no shared glass anymore.

Considering there was a bug with doubled props… Perhaps it worked at some point… Or could still work. :man_shrugging:

The last few unlocks, aside from the ICA Impact Explosive (Durian, Unicorn Horn, Pinot Noir), use that weird “gear - melee” category in the inventory instead of the usual “weapons - melee”. While I still don’t understand why this category exists, at least now the Small Gold Bar is no longer alone.

Sorry if not the right thread for this or if it’s been brought up before. I haven’t exactly found out the answer to this but I realised the map of Sapienza in the ICA safehouse has a red cross on it. Only one. Figuring “X Marks The Spot” I took a shovel over there and scoured the cliff face for buried treasure, but nothing showed up. I tried multiple disguises too.

I thought maybe it just shows the cannabis joint for some reason, but the location is off and it seems to point to this rock to me, judging by the location of the boat.

Checking hitmaps I can’t see anything there although I also just discovered there is a sewer key in the champagne bottle if you’re dressed as the plague doctor (why?) So maybe it could be that, but again the location seems off as that is distinctly to the rear end of the boat.

Anybody know anything more about this? I’m curious now.

Look around the sewers for a place to use that key. You’ll know when you’ve found it.

I see, thanks. Interesting easter egg I wasn’t aware of, is it a reference to something specific? And so the key is what the X on the map points to?

A reference? I’d assume a plague… Thus the plague Dr. disguise. As for the X on the map… I can’t say for certain, but the wine bottle/sewer key would seem the most logical.

I believe if you went to the crypt dressed as the plague doctor then a bunch of skeletal hands would start waving or something.

Notice the destroyed camera?

Today I found out I shouldn’t use a briefcase for that.

At least it only had the oil canister inside.

I did that in Berlin with the camera over the back lot by the red scooter. Lost my ICA Crowbar. Very annoying.
