Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

Moreso speculation but is Grey’s look inspired by Timothy Dalton’s in The Living Daylights?

Which then circled back into becoming Bond’s look before becoming a 00 in MI6 in First Light:

Pretty sure that’s just a good look for European white dudes.

it’s a bit retro is the thing, very eighties, which makes sense because anything iconic about Bond gets grandfathered into becoming cool way past its sell by date: see also, that turtleneck roger moore wears being a suit in the new bond game. no young man this Bond’s age would wear something SOOOO 70s… except for the fact he wore it in an alternate universe, so it’s tied to his character forever

Bateson has a daughter, and she’s playing Absolution.

Not so much something I “found out,” because it’s not a truth that eluded anyone so much as a humorous realization: all the contract names in Freelancer sound like titles to Jason Statham movies. One even literally is, and one almost is if two syllables are added. Think about it: The Transporter, The Mechanic, The Beekeeper, Working Man, Crank, etc.

Yes and all (or nearly all) of the escalations sound like Robert Ludlum books.

The “Untouchable” cutscenes are stored inside these bubbles in the sky above the train. If you teleport into them it’ll play through them all again, then put you back to the beginning but with all of your current inventory. It’s possible (teleporting) to blow yourself up with the car, which plays the death sound but does not fail the mission instead also resetting you back in the lab.

Playing Whittleton Creek, while in Cassidy’s house… I’m pretty sure this upstairs bathroom didn’t have 2 showers.

Which is kinda weird anyway… Unless it’s due to the number of guards residing there (with the bunk beds in a nearby room).

Oh so that is why Janus lives in Vermont. Cassidy makes him live there because that way when he crams fifteen well-groomed but very taciturn dudes in next door it just looks like an incredibly solemn gay polycule has moved in and not a coterie of former Feds and spooks.

Honestly, Janus isn’t even the weirdest thing that neighborhood is hiding, so I think Cassidy’s bullshit is easier to ignore in a neighborhood where everybody seems to have a fucked up secret/hobby. That was one of the brilliant things about the juxtaposition of going to Whittleton Creek immediately following Santa Fortuna and Mumbai, two locations showing extreme poverty and vicious gangs. Whittleton Creek might be richer, cleaner, less violent, and yet it’s no less fucked up. In fact, in a weird way, it might be more so, because it doesn’t have an excuse like the former two.

I was watching Goldeneye the other day and the fact that Janus was the original owner of the Romanian Train has to be a reference to the fact that 006/Janus in the movie owns a big evil train

In Hitman Blood Money, the level House of Cards:

There is the guy who comes knocking at Samatha’s (drunk lady) room when you follow her in. A bit distressed he says “whats going on!?”. Today I found out why he may do so. When standing in his room I discovered some noise disturbance, so to say.

This is the only room in the hotel where Ive heard this.

Does it just always play near that room or only if the two of them are alone inside?

By @Trzebiat: if you knock out a guard with banana when you are kidnapped, LeChifre will just pull out the banana and say “You are very clever.”

Please watch the whole video, it’s worth it.

He does the same even if you don’t knock out the guard with it or if your first remove that guard. Basically he will pick up a banana that is in his path (and he magically gets the peel back into one piece).

I guess it always plays there. I heard it after I killed both Samantha and the neighbor

The thing with Le Chiffre picking it up and saying that was known before. Never seen someone actually getting KOd there on the banana, and in this case it happened twice.

Hmm… Now I’ve gotta try replaying the ET Arcade in the Cowboy suit. :cowboy_hat_face:

Edit: Well, I did drank the poison, but didn’t go to the garage… I went to the basement. The time limit ended, I killed a number of guards with the Striker. I couldn’t stash bodies  but I didn’t pass out until I killed one of Murillo’s guards (it must’ve been the last one in the area).

Upon waking the target soon started to escape shortly after talking on his phone. I couldn’t get free in time and he escaped.

I just finished playing Split Fiction and found out that Zoe is voiced by Elsie Bennett! AKA: Imogen Royce, Ljudmila Vetrova, Penelope Graves… I knew she sounded oddly familiar. Thought that was cool and hopefully this is Hitman-adjacent enough to put here.

It’s a totally different character than what we’re used to hearing from her in WOA

I recently found out that my old laptop with windows xp does something that it has never done before. It runs hitman codename 47 way too fast. I know how to fix it but I don’t know the reason of it. I think it is my inner energy trying to tell me to stop playing this game.
