Weird, yes you’re correct, it’s visibly still a dark navy colour in game…
But that loadout image shows a tux which is just fully black - a suit which doesn’t exist! I guess that’s always been the preview image since H3 then, and I’ve only just noticed.

Yea it’s always been midnight blue. Which of course told us early on that this was a Bond type game. Connery wore a midnight blue tuxedo in the very first James Bond film in 1962.

47 is absolutely crushing it on his chess board in the Freelancer safehouse. He’s up a queen and a rook (14 points!), and just has an overall dominant position. This makes it all the more curious why he’s thinking so hard, because anything short of willfully throwing the game is a winning move here.
This position is actually from the 28th move of the famous 6th game of the 1972 World Championship between Fischer and Spassky, with the devs inexplicably removing white’s (Fischer’s) queen from h3 and rook from f5, making it such a lopsided position in favor of black, Spassky, who actually lost the real life game.
Meanwhile, he’s not doing so good in the cutscene where he’s playing against the computer/Diana. He has a knight against two pawns but there is no way to stop white from promoting one of these pawns on opposite ends of the board because he first has to move the knight before it’s taken. Anything he does is simply delaying the inevitable checkmate once white promotes one of the pawns to a queen.

Yeah this reminds me of how much I hate all the ads in First Light. I know that the cars and watches are a part of the Bond franchise but I see this as IOI trying to seem like a important corporation.

The Bond movies were often interlinked with sponsored products, including Daniel Craig doing a lot of action packed ads for silly products. Aston Martin and Omega are thematically great, but I can’t get down with Nvidia

Yeah that board is the same as the safehouse one except white’s queen and rook are actually present. Now that I think I about it that’s probably the reason the two pieces are missing in the safehouse - they are separate entities since they are the only ones you can move and the devs just forgot to put them back.
The puzzle is really funny if you know your chess because you get the answer just by the fact that the other option loses a rook for no compensation at all. You move the rook to a spot that is guarded by 3 pieces lol. The winning move is just one of several decent moves in the position.

Yeah it was a no brainer made to look like inconceivable brilliance that only served to make Grandmaster Knight look kinda amateur 
though admittedly was less easy when I first saw it because it was in the middle of a mission and I was in a fast-paced tactical mindset, not a ‘five moves ahead’ chess one. But 47 sees the whole board in everything he does

With Diana, he’s letting her win, as a means of showing he can be deceptive too, considering she’s poisoned him twice (ignoring that he shot her).
With the one in his safehouse, I like to think that he’s actually the opposing player, trying to figure out how to win in a seemingly impossible situation. Considering he puts himself into such situations each game, it’s good exercise for his mind.
