It was also the first level of an episodic release. It needed to WOW people.
That would be another good one actually.
Gonna tag @IOI_Artjoms so the ideas can hopefully get passed on.
So you don’t have to scroll up, the idea is adding “fast forward” starting locations to Paris and Miami (like the ones in Dartmoor that start later into the NPC routes than the other starting location) so that players can jump straight in to the post-fashion show and post-race setup of the locations. NPCs move around when these phases are entered, so would open up new possibilities for Contracts Mode.
While we are at it, in H2016 I think you could trigger the building evacuation without non-target kills. I think it was by causing loud explosives? Would be really cool if the evacuation state was also somehow accessible to contract mode. Though I am not sure how to do that, a starting location where 47 triggers the fire alarm? I think making it trigger via regular fire alarm interaction is a bit too much and might break other things.
One consqeuence of cross-platform progression is that created contracts on additional platforms will end with the same two digits as the main platform (previous contracts are not visible under “My Contracts” but do still exist if searched for by ID).
I would imagine it’s difficult to script woken up prisoner behavior. They should return to their imprisoned state or not? Depending on who finds them? Big can of worms from a programmer’s POV.
I snatched the virus thingy from brother Akram before the handover meeting. When the church bell sounds to initiate the meeting with Craig Black, Akram will lean over his balcony in agony.
I was hoping for something more lethal. When you do the meeting dressed as Akram and don’t bring the virus, you’ll be gunned down by Black’s entourage. Would’ve been better if that happened to him as well. Or if he tossed himself over the rail.
Does he mumble something interesting up there?
Picking up the Ark Keycard from an Architect in the “Ark Control Room” or from Blake Nathaniel provides you a piece of intel with an image of an early design for the Elite guard, quite different from the final look.
Love how many of these there are throughout the trilogy, even in briefings iirc. Some might call that unpolished but it really shows how much they considered design
Not much that I know of
Throwing coins to street performer in Sapienza does not actually cause distraction from audience of performer himself, but you are expected to throw coins in hat or around it. I used to think that way because of old Cricken video.
There were two unused server NPC’s in WC with different faces. They ended up being used as supplier and courier respectivelly. I also remember seeing former in Censor ET, and latter as Lookout.
I was curious about if 47 can be protected by wearing this in poison gas.
After test by myself,it’s unuseful.
I know this is a bit of a necro, but I noticed that the Manypass has the numbers as well, and it reminded me of this post. This makes it the third time the barcode has “properly” shown up in WoA with the numbers underneath, and the fourth time it has shown up with the numbers if we count the easter egg.
To anyone unaware, the barcode with numbers is on the back of the Manypass. You can turn it around in Freelancer to see them easily.
So apparently, if you knock out leader heading for a meeting and then eliminate them, it does not count towards “Eliminated Leader Heading for a Meeting” prestige. I guess they have to be on foot for it to count.
Well, yeah. If you’ve knocked them out, they’re not heading for the meeting anymore, so if you then kill them, you aren’t fulfilling that objective.
Sorry if it’s been found before.. but I just found a new glitch (for me).
if you give someone with Guard behavior the bubblegum, wait until they consume it, then alert them, they will fly away into unconsciousness.
It didn’t work with the new Patient Zero Requiem.. but I think I’ll see what other missions I can cause a target to leap to their death from the gum.
Now that’s the content I come here for. Nice freakin’ find.
When you shoot this guy on Ambrose with a Tranquilizer while he is sitting on the ledge of the roof …
… he can fall off the roof, but not far enough too die, and lands on another roof, where nobody can reach him to wake him up again.
Listening to PALLAS's lines without the robot filter, and I'm pretty sure it's voiced by the same person who voices Robert Knox.Someone on reddit successfully defiltered robotic voice of PALLAS and found out that he's voiced by Martin McDougall, a.k.a. Robert Knox himself
