Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

Apparently you can’t smugle pistol through a security check, by hiding it in a briefcase. I won’t allow me to prompt the check.

Also you will get shot for trying to drop a briefcase, the bank guard took great offense to me dropping a briefcase in front of him and it ended with me bleeding out on the bank floor.

Funny enough, placing the briefcase does work though. Just set it at your feet and they’ll let you pick it up after without checking.

I tried that, the guard got very aggressive and didn’t tolerate me putting it down.

Weird, it’s worked for me at the Miami entrance and at the Paris auction checkpoint. Maybe Milton-Fitzpatrick security is just a little too trigger happy :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I never heard this before, so I guess yes

I was watching a documentary series where James May visits Japan. In the first episode it’s mentioned that “Yuki” means “snow”.
Of course, I was triggered to find out what “yamazaki” would mean: mountain promontory. Then I looked up what promontory means: 1a : a high point of land or rock projecting into a body of water. b : a prominent mass of land overlooking or projecting into a lowland.

So basically, Yuki Yamazaki refers to the place the mission takes place in: a snowy mountain promontory.

I wonder if IO saw the same documentary.

Nah it’s unlikely that the documentary is where the inspiration from. It was first released in January, 2020, way after Hokkaido’s release. Nonetheless, the show is great fun and provides interesting stuff to learn. James May has always made me and many audiences laugh a lot as well. I definitely recommend it! :star_struck:

Lmao that reminds me of Mortal Kombat Deception, the Protagonist of the Storymode is named Shujinko, which apparently means “Protagonist” in chinese :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Fixed it for you. It is “主人公” (Shujinko) in Japanese, while the word in Chinese would be “主人翁” (Zhǔrénwēng). They are very close and resemble each other, though.

Here in my first complete play through of the Providence trilogy, I have begun to notice small mannerisms in 47. He keeps clenching and moving his dominant hand, when not openly carrying a pistol. It’s a small detail, something that have flown past me for a long time, yet it’s a great little detail that helps sell 47 as a character and not just a lifeless humanoid.

I feel like thats a response to the ungodly feminine Hands Thread, i remember there was a Poll what you prefer: open Hands or clenched fists :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::joy:

Which hand does 47 have the scar he shares with Lucas on again? I always thought that was why he subconsciously clenches.

Wish it was easier to see in game too.

Surprisingly, I shot once to Bosco in the head with the Black Trinity and died. After KO him first. His suit isn’t longer bulletproof enough to stand various shots to the head from all weapons except the Sieger Ghost and it’s ice variant. Curious change.
