Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

That’s because that’s a magazine not a clip. I recently learned the difference since I got into guns only a year ago. Not trying to offend anyone.

I’m a bit late on posting this but just recently I’ve found out about some of the original Red Dragon/Blue Lotus designs from Codename 47.

Original Red Dragon model, posted this in the concept art thread some time ago.

In these next screenshots you can see more NPCs with a similar looking design, but you might also notice the slight blue tint on certain parts of their outfit if you look close.

Also these guys below, they don’t look much like either but I’m inclined to believe they’re Blue Lotus. This is from very very early builds of the game, pre-2000.

EDIT: Also, in the E3 trailer of the game:

A target image using the model

EDIT 2: You can see in the E3 trailer and in this video below at 0:46 that he replaced the dummy in the pre-release game.

Subduing while changing cover causes unique animations.

Kowloon Triads in Gang War has more working elevators than the whole WoA Trilogy.

In my recent reading spree of old archived interviews, I found this in one for Hitman: Contracts.

That’s from Thor Frolich, who worked at IO-Interactive from 1999 to 2011. I wonder if any older HF members know anything about that, but it’s cool to see.

Also, a little bonus, Codename 47 was originally planned to have around 25 levels. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing but it is interesting.

“Murder & a Movie”? Sounds like Icon!

It would have been a nightmare to develop, especially at the same time with the game’s engine which they had trouble with the ragdolls / performance for most of the development.

I’d be down for 25 Levels in Codename 47.

I just figured out how to kill Udo Wurtz SA/SO/FO and I’m very happy

The real question is, Pablo: Would you have preferred the Carpathian Mountains or a final mission that takes place solely inside one elevator?

Only discovered last week that if you click on a video briefing in H3 and wait for the menu music to fade out then quit the briefing video, an alternative menu music plays, but it goes away when you quit the planning screen :frowning:

Does someone have a video of that?

I found out that sthere is a gift Easter egg in til death do us apart, you shoot the bottles on a tree in the beginning area where the other guests are shooting and every time you shoot one bottle they cheer and when all of them are shot then a gift spawns and you can hide stuff in it, only tested with a mine:

It’s a bit flickering when you walk with it so maybe it was meant to be an actual item in the level but got “downgraded” to an Easter egg.

Wait, afaik this gift is always there at the start. They’re just cheering because they’re drunk hicks
