H3 is 0/10. They made up these weird things called “keypads” that have never existed in the real world and therefore break my immersion
Chongqing is one of the worst missions in the whole trilogy, it only gets more credit because the map is gorgeous
Unpopular opinion: @Norseman made a grave error.
feels a shudder throughout the room
Hold on, hold on, let me explain! Please people, remain calm! You there, in the back, stop crying.
Norseman put this topic in “Classic Hitman Games”, but it should be in “Hitman General”.
Can this matter by resolved with the utmost urgency? I feel icky voicing unpopular opinions on the WOA-trilogy.
I do wish that the code was randomized with each playthrough. After you learn the code they are no longer a barrier and are just annoying. It would also be a great excuse to make the EMP work on it. Either go look for the code or use the EMP.
I thought they would be doing that, coz it’s super easy to do with written down numbers. But as soon as I saw some codes were in NPC dialogue I knew they weren’t going to do it
I get why they didn’t coz sometimes it would be annoying finding it. But yeah the EMP should 110% work on them
Yeah, after memorizing the codes it just feels cheap when you can just use all the doors (and safes) without searching for the codes. But randomizing wouldn’t work because some codes are told by NPC:s.
Immersion mode: go and overhear the code you’re using. If you didn’t hear it, don’t use it.
It’s the way I play but I understand it’s not for everyone. It can make you feel quite silly if you’re not into it.
If not, I imagine breaching charge works?
Mind this is coming from the kind of guy who only goes into the Kashmirian’s appartment after hearing about the knife-in-the-dartboard thing in conversation, and then spotting said dartboard.
I’m 99% sure that the code locked safes are blast proof.
I’m really hoping the lack of master challenges and changes in H3 means a pro mode return later on.
The shadow mechanics would get overlooked because 1) there are no clear, feasible ways to know if you’re in darkness for it to work, and 2) because the AI is trash and stomps over any inclination that it works (Jacuzzi Job sort of does it, but then the guards seem to override it all) so it’s not worth getting it working if other systems undermine it
But you’re right that it’s an unpopular opinion to be really gatekeepy about being a fan of a game franchise
The Colorado suit with the hat is better than the Colorado suit without the hat.
The shadows are very clear and so is the entire system. Jacuzzi job handles the darkness in a scripted manner, so it’s inconsistent. I think the best level to explore them is a Meat King’s Party. On Medium difficulty you can literally sneak in front of the guards when you shoot out the lights. Also, on the roof area there is darkness and lightning in the background strikes ones in a while. Guard usually don’t see you there unless you like in the 4m range, but when lighting happens and you highlighted by it he can see you from 30m.
Fun Fact: 99 percent of fake statistics are fake.
A real fan would have posted about these findings in the “Things you just found out about Hitman” topic, right after discovery, instead of being a dick about it years later.
But you’re winning this topic so far! Well done
A real fan would post about how feminine 47’s hands look.
Guys. Joined 3 days ago? Has 3 posts, 2 of which are condescending shit like this?
Nah, I actually like C47 model from the Hitman 3. I don’t care about his hands, cause they look way more realistic than Blood Money fake looking alpha male version. TBH what they did in Blood Money is the biggest assassination in the entire series and it’s the suicide of C47 character. And it’s not like devs aren’t aware of this. If you hold NPC in subdue animation for like 30 sec they will say something along the lines of: “I remember you used to be more muscular before”.
Blood Money supposed to be a parody of 2004 elections and that kind of shows. You know that Ave Maria wasn’t even part of the OST and they threw it in just for laughts? Oops, went off track a bit. I begin to tell straight facts and this topic suppose to have “unpopular” opinions. Yeah, right.
Did you know: Fan policing is not welcome in any thread.
We’re all here to have fun and I have zero interest in people trying to define criteria that excludes others so that they can claim they’re the “real fans”
As a side note, there are zero threads where the forum guidelines don’t apply.
Marrakesh is better than Sapienza, and I’m tired of pretending it isn’t
