I mean you shouldn’t be sorry, it is your opinion. I don’t really think that is true because I think the prequel was a victim of extenuating circumstance and still good in places and 2 is reputed to be good even if it is different from the first.
You are right. The characters were the most memorable and the power was the best, which is why it is still so beloved today. Regardless I will probably buy the third game even though the special ability looks wack

The base game is fantastic fun. Pleasantly surprised by this announcement. Gotta get my hands on Desperados III when I have the cash to spare (played the demo and it´s just as good). If only Mimimi got contracted to do a Commandos sequel

Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart got a lengthy gameplay preview. Looks really fun, really gorgeous, and an awesome entry in the R&C series. Definitely putting that on my wishlist.

Finally, the silence has been officially broken. Dying Light 2 comes out on December 7th.
There’s 3 base editions (Standard, Gold, Ultimate), plus a Collector’s Edition. They’re planning on adding 2 story DLCs post-launch.
It’s a cross-gen game, too, which is great news.
