Please take it to PMs now, if you’re so adamant in trying to make them see your point of view on the subject. This discussion has gone on long enough between the few of you with the giant walls of text and is going off-topic from the general subject of QoL improvements. There’s no need to lean this hard into proving your point.
Didn’t know that - thanks!
Since Claw Hammer and Jaeger 7 Covert are unavaiable, I would like to have them unlock as part of challanges. It would be very simple:
Claw Hammer - Do “Hammer Time” challange in ICA Facility
Jaeger 7 Covert - Finish “Overscoped” challange in Sapienza (not sure of that challange is avaiable)
Also, I’ve mentioned in March roadmap, but please IO, give us a Goldballer and Screwdriver as an unlocks for new featured contracts. Players here seem to be very fond of that idea!
It would be cool if you could use the numpad on your keyboard to work quicker for the keypads.
- I would really like them to address the little “trip” that 47 sometimes does when taking out an inventory item mid run. It’s been there since the beginning, so I’m never expecting it to go away.
- For the minimal UI users:
I like the temporary popup text for objectives and challenges. I wish they would carry over this system to the “been captured by camera”, or Silent Assassin status.
And for the always on screen Silent Assassin status icon, it needs to be moved all the way to the lower left corner of the screen when there is no minimap.
Edit: #2 added.
I don’t know if it counts as a QoL improvement, but I’ve always wanted to be able snatch people into cabinets or bins if they walk close by and 47 is hidden inside. It would save me the trouble of having to drag them or run the risk of someone seeing me klonk them over the head and then put them in the bin.
Are these unavailable? I have them in my H3 inventory.
The Claw Hammer and Jaeger Covert could be unlocked in H2 and carried over as part of the progression transfer, but they can’t be unlocked in H3 itself.
Ah, I see. Then yea, they should be put in.
It wasn’t like that in hitman 2 and it’s really annoying.

What’s “it”? Number 1 or 2?
In the case of #1, that trip is very much there in the previous games. Open and close the inventory while running. It’s hard to miss.
#2, they’ve messed with the camera system so much, like with the addition of PIP, it’s hard to remember how it “used to be”.
A silent assassin tracker in the objectives menu. I like to play with all HUD off, so I’m not a fan of the persistent green blip on the screen. A card in the menu showing a checklist of SA requirements would be nice, also allowing you to see which ones you’ve failed.
Mission timer too, i don’t like playing with it on, but sometimes you need to know, so turning it on to then turn it back off again can be a hassle
It would be great if the camera had a few more features. For starters, a brightness/exposure/flash slider.
I was trying to take a picture of an item in a dark area and found in the split second you take a picture, there’s an illuminating flash that actually illuminates the environment. Well, turns out it’s a big help in getting some otherwise bogus pictures.
Here’s the Golden Idol on Haven Island normally
And here’s the golden idol in the split-second flash.
Speaking of the camera, we should be able to change the settings of it after we’ve taken the photo. Sometimes you’ll take the photo at the right moment but the zoom is a little off.
Just in general I wish this would line up with photomode in other AAA games. For example, free camera, more filters, can hide 47 etc.
Which is a lot to ask, but this is a wishful dreaming thread
I think we need Hitman Snap where it’s just a game of Agent 47 on a rail taking photos of targets.
You can throw soda cans at them to get a better picture
People asking IO to include the Photographer.
IO makes 47 the photographer.
Actually I never got the little trip when I played H2. In H3 I get it most of the time.
Escalations deserve to have a working ‘Target Info’ HUD like Contracts mode. Show us the disguise/weapon restriction on NPCs. It breaks the flow of the game having to pop open the menu every time you come across a unique target condition.
