Well to each their own I suppose, but yeah I never really heard a bad word about any of the soundtrack. I have it on my playlist myself.
Yeah, I’m aware I stand alone on that. (I mean, I’m right and everyone else is wrong, and I can live with being the only sane man in a mad world.)
The Housebuilding Song, on the other hand… that absolutely slaps!
In a Cruel Cruel World, surely.
Props to you. I still haven´t finished it. Stopped the moment I found out the game locks me into that yee-yee ass Rancher outfit once I reunite with the family. So I left Abbie and Jack hanging so muh boy John can live the life. That was in January and I haven´t touched the game since, lol.
RDR1 and by extension RDR2 has alot of world building that goes unnoticed cause it’s something you have to go out of your way to discover since it won’t blatantly tell you it.
Sit at some campfires with people and read some newspapers.
Rockstar in general has been doing this thing for awhile now dating as far back as GTA 3 to my knowledge with the usage of Radio Stations.
Finished Assassin Creed Mirage.
I liked the gameplay and stealth mechanics no doubt. And wish the upcoming AC games emphasizes on Stealth.
However I personally felt disappointed in this tiny map and overally story content, it was like-
This would have been ultimate game if it was released 10 years back.
Street Fighter 6 Demo
I have just started Street Fighter 6 Demo.
I liked the open world on fighting game concept but they could have put some voice in the gameplay cutscenes. So I am still thinking to buy full game (or wait for some deals)
Look, here is my character:
Maybe my expectations was set high after playing legendary games like Hitman or From Software games.
Got a few game the last sales, I think I am in my last third of Pacific Drive. Which game should I play next?
- Atomic Heart
- Disco Elysium
- God of War
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Robocop
That “once” already happened.
Something good for “twice” then.
Finally on the last episode of the Fate of Atlantis DLC in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Happy to say that it has been enough to get my XP up to max level, and it continues to fill the bar and give me ability points to increase my ability stats. I’m not gonna concern myself too much with those, because all that’s left is to increase by a slight percentage some of my stats, like the damage I do with spears or my resistance to arrows. There’s no way I’ll fill them all to max before ending the game, but it’s not a priority and not really something I’ll count as fully completing the game. I’ll get it on future playthroughs. The only other thing not complete is gaining all items and looks, but that’s micro transaction territory and I already wrote that off with Origins, so no problem there.
All that’s left is just the final missions. The last of the Atlantis DLC (fun but tedious and I’m ready to wrap this shit up), then the final base game mission and the last two DLC missions after that, and finally done. This game has been super fun and I’ve loved it, but damn, its size really does make it a slog when going for full completion and you’re in the final stretch. There really can be too much of a good thing. Who knew? Always thought that phrase was a cop-out.
Anyway, yeah, I’m ready to be done with this damned thing, it’s just too big and taking too long when you’re trying to get to the next one in line. And to think, the next one is even more massive. Not necessarily in map size, but in content size and run time. I can’t get my head around that. But, slowly but surely, I’m catching up.
I bought me the Lara Croft Collection (physical) for switch and I’m currently replaying Guardian of Light, i remember having so much fun playing this with a friend when it came out for the Xbox 360.
The game still is amazing but it made me realize that i dont have a friend anymore that truly shares my passion for videogames, which makes me feel so fucking lonely lately - despite the fact that I have a fiancé and some very good friends.
I just miss the old days somehow.
Just set a PB for a single hand in Balatro. Probably well behind many of you, but given that I’d previously only cleared the 1M mark once, I’m kinda happy with this:
Played Cocoon, the recent-ish puzzle game from the designer of Limbo and Inside. The color palette is a lot brighter and it’s top down instead of side-scrolling, but it’s still got a lot of the same weird vibes. The puzzles themselves aren’t super hard, but they’re clever and fun to figure out and the game does a great job of guiding you through it without being invasive. And the last “level” or so has some of my favorite puzzles ever.
Also, coincidentally enough, I finally finished Completionist++ for Balatro by dragging an eternal rental Astronomer across the line. Now I just need LocalThunk to get off his butt and release the new content update.
Assassins Creed 2. Me and a friend at work were talking about how good the Ezio collection was and it’s been over a decade since I played 2 and Brotherhood so thought it was time I gave it another playthrough.
Wtf… how does that even play? What’s it like?
The series is so iconic with its 3rd person, bullet time abilities… you’ve gotta be pulling my leg with this.
Unironically really faithful, bullet time and all.
I had to search up gameplay on youtube too lol. It looks pretty cool.
