Hope that won’t be the case. I have a similar problem but SD was one of the games in recent years that hooked me in right from the start until the very end. The story is great and the missions fun (including the side stuff), not to mention the fantastic HK setting.
Just got Far Cry 5 temporarily for free from Ubisoft Store.
I am having fun with it.
@Swangtheugly Just to let you know, I wound up beating KH1. Redid the Hercules cup because deep down, I felt I was getting so close to winning it, and after 3 more tries, I finally did win it. When you beat that, you get the yellow trinity, which lets you find a chest that upgrades your wind skill so it is better at tanking damage. Combined that with some fire resistance amulets and discovering how ridicilously helpful Tinkerbell is, I beat the boss I was stuck on, and really, all the bosses afterwards were never too much of a problem, especially when your wind skill goes up to level 3 at one point and you get Cure up to level 3 as well.
So yeah, feel slightly “proud” (haha) that I beat KH1 on hard, but I’m never doing that again. Normal difficulty on all the games from here on out thank god. I enjoyed the game in the end, soundtrack truly is phenomenal. Interested to see how much more weird, convoluted, and extremely awkwardly anime-ish the franchise gets down the road. Bring on Organisation XIII.
Good I’m glad you got through KH1. The ending definitely made me feel empty my first time completing it, but I digress as long as you enjoy it and play the series on a more reasonable difficulty you will enjoy it through and through.
Do you not like the ending? I mean, it is pretty cheesy with the choice of song they use, but honestly, I find it pretty affecting actually. I think the way Chain of Memories continues the story for that point onward is a real downstep to be honest.
I like it just again when I say empty I mean it’s very bleak when you really think about it.
Makes sense. I get real Final Fantasy X vibes from it, and the ending for FFX made me cry. I suppose it’s just the fact that we know it isn’t how things end with how many more chapters this story will eventually have.
I love Sora by the way, he’s a great protagonist, I understand why he has become such a favourite for Super Smash Bros. fan lists for new fighters.
Just started a new Playthrough of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 1. Definitely one of the greatest Games from the Xbox 360/PS3 Era, fun gameplay, stunning art design, great soundtrack, fantastic story that is narrrated by Patrick Stewart - whats not to love about this game?
I really enjoyed both games of the newer series, I haven’t played them in ages. Are they compatible with the PS5?
You should replay them if you have any chance to do so, especially LoS1 is so amazing. I could cry basically everytime Gabriel speaks to Marie - i think its the only Videogame romance that ever touched me
Tbh i dont know, i own all three games on Xbox 360 and on Steam, thats where I’m playing on currently
One of the bad ending of Vampyr was powerful in these aspects. Overall an awesome rpg, even with it’s limitations.
Well only time will tell, also I need to get my hands on a PS5. Which isn’t an easy task to begin with.
I sadly never finished it, if i remember correctly I basically destroyed my savefile by saving nearly dead in a Bossfight or something like that and basically fucked myself, with my last save being 4hrs ago lol
It’s well worth the effort to revisit. Great experience.
Believe or not never played Doom. Just started playing.
the og’s or the newer ones? either way have a great time blasting demons limb from limb, theyre all fantastic shooters.
OG!! Yeah it’s fun for sure.
goddamn. i love that game.
May i recommend you to check out Blood then? Its my favorite FPS Game of all time and it’s Remaster is available on Steam for a decent price, its called Blood: Fresh Supply and even includes the Add On.
Just stay the hell away from Blood 2, its utter trash.
Thanks! I will check it out at some point.
Since you are a lot more experienced in boomer shooters what do you think of dusk? I heard it was really good.
