Who is the most annoying npc?

He is very dedicated to his job.

I wouldn’t say she’s unavoidable; anyone can just skip the intro and leave before she finishes a sentence.

And/or have the girl she’s waiting for actually show up and then they leave to go to the restaurant and maybe there could be optional conversations both times.

I think she was mentionned before but Lucy Philips in Dubai for me. « Cornelia Stuyvesant ! Ooooh you’re here ! How wonderful ! ». I walk past her EVERY SINGLE TIME I play Dubai and now I really think this dialogue as merged with my DNA :joy:

There is also this voice in Miami « Oh my god-aahh » that is super annoying

Or « Ohh ? I see someone is in a hurry to enter » or something like this in Sgail.

Almost every line that we hear at each playthrough in fact

The Man that says ‘Oh I see someones in a hurry to get inside’’ on Isle of Sgail or
The Woman that says ‘‘Have you seen a girl around?’’ in Chongqing.

Nearly everyone in this thread chooses an NPC based on a phrase they say, and say every playthrough in a spot of the game the player can’t easily avoid or simply can’t avoid at all.

That one guy in the source mission pisses me off so much. When you go up to the exhibition, there’s this guy who keeps saying shit like, “Yeah I’m awesome!” “Yeah, I am the man!”

Let me guess, you set off an ICA flash phone and now that guy trying to pick the now non-existent phone up?

Motherloving security guard outside the deposit boxes in New York. The one with the shotgun. I had a Freelancer mission there where I had to kill one of the guys in there, with two npcs roaming around in both deposit rooms, all while being watched LIKE A HAWK. When I tell you I had to do some real mental gymnastics to to SA that contract. Christ on a cracker.

You should be able to close the deposit box room gate since the gates act like a wall iirc, so the guards cannot see through it.

He was a target in my latest Freelancer contract. Him following me around greatly worked in my favor. Never was so easy to isolate a target.

Reminded me of Purple Turban Guy.

That is good to know. Thank you. Hadn’t played New York in ages so I knew I might have been missing something.

The wrong (as far as IOI is concerned the RIGHT) NPC having a question mark indicator when trying to distract a certain NPC.

Literally any VIP’s bodyguards/entourages that follows the target after death, for example Carl, Hush, and Marcus’ bodyguards as well as Blair Reddington’s, it’s so annoying, like do they have a 6th sense telling them where the body is or something.

I wouldn’t mind if they checked the last location the target was at when they were alive and then just doing their own thing, but nope, they just chase the damn body literally everywhere unless hidden.

The fact that most missions and even some elusive targets have bodyguards that just wander off if the target dies like in Paris and Mendoza or search for the VIP elsewhere like in Sapienza and Haven, makes me wonder why a select few bodyguards just weren’t programed to just screw off.

The drunk woman in a House of Cards.

She is at least useful though. Free access to her room and the ledges of her balcony.

The carpet merchant is clearly the winner but I just cant stand any NPC who walks into me when I was already standing somewhere minding my own business then they get vocal about me being in their face… I seriously almost compromised some missions by losing my cool and giving them whatnot in front of a guard
