Because thatâs the defining characteristic of a nun. Thatâs the whole point of nuns; they are essentially women priests. If the nuns werenât women, they wouldnât be nuns, theyâd be priests.

Not sure Iâm really following here. Are the fetish nuns from Absolution actual members of the clergy, who just run around in fetish outfits and kill people in their spare time? If I buy a nun outfit for Halloween, and wear it, is it wrong to refer it to as a nun outfit when a man wears it? I feel like weâre entering semantics here. To be pedantic would it be accurate to say that the ICA facility male guards are wearing outfits resembling a Catholic nunâs traditional outfit?

Put it this way: say you have four people; two women and two men, all are wearing nun outfits. One of the women and one of the men are actual members of the clergy, the other two are ICA assassins wearing a nun outfit. The women who is clergy is an actual nun, the other woman, regardless of her occupation, is just wearing a nun outfit. Both of the men, however, regardless of occupation or clergical status, are just wearing nun outfits. Of the three, only one can say âIâm a nunâ and be correct, the other three can say it, but the correct response would be âno, youâre just wearing a nun outfitâ.
