Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

Hmm. There should be something happen. A sound.

FWIW, I had already killed Robert Knox (garroted him when he investigated the satellite laptop PC, then dumped his body), so I don’t know if that makes any difference.

Edit: But I also had a non-target kill when I reviewed the results screen. It could be that I had collateral damage when I detonated the explosive.

Well, I don’t blame them by any means: the rankings are really inconsistent, I think only like IOI’s table would be reliable. But it would be really sick to know them all…

Agent 17 was on the ship in Terminal Hospitality the whole time!

I always figured he was hiding in the bomb hallway room.

Cool find!

Well, they say you learn something everyday. Never knew that! :open_mouth:

Makes me want to bring the anti vehicle rifle into that level and see if I can put him down or see if he reacts at all if you shoot him.

(Yesterday) I learned that 47, in Freelancer, can pick up a burning corpse and dump it in a container.
He cannot move into the flames while picking up the body or he will die.

I had to set a trap using oil canister and “Make Target Slip” objectives on Isle of Sgàil. Target closest to spawn could be easily sound-lured into an unfrequented corridor so hurriedly placed a banana on the floor. After dragging the unconscious target in front of a container, poured the oil around target, dropped a remote taser and used it to ignite the oil. Crouched just outside the oil pool and waited for the interact prompt to drag the corpse. Prompt appeared 1-2 seconds after the target died, but still burning (not smoking, but with flames). Turned to the container and dumped the body; the flames lit up the inside of the container.

All this “hide quickly” because always, the shout of the burning person seems to attract someone to investigate, even beyond a closed door, and the prestige objective was “Silent Assassin - No Firearms”.

Best regards.

PS: I suppose folks already know this, but I couldn’t find it in the forum (might have used non-match keywords).

PPS: apparently my screenshot of the burning body dumping didn’t work well nor upload so I try again the upload at least; I took it as fast as I could, but only shows the glow, not the body

Makes sense. 5mm is about .20 caliber and the smaller the round the smaller the handgun can be while still not breaking apart during operation.

Left to right: .22cal lr (white gun), 9mm (green/black gun), .45 cal ACP (red gun).

The Disruptor Cane is placed diagonally when you get it in a reward crate. Can’t remember seeing this happen with other items.

Guy got up on his own after falling off the roof or the guard on the patio has Night King powers? :joy_cat:

Ever wonder what would happen if you switched outfits while being escorted out for trespassing? I did :joy_cat:

EDIT: Just realized after watching this clip of myself again that the briefcase that I left on the table teleported to my hand after I changed outfits too. Crazy shit in this game

It irks me that I don’t have this weapon and I can’t get it.

Seeing a short on YouTube for the movie ‘A History of Violence’ - one of the antagonists (played by Ed Harris) has a scar on his face and is blind in the same side eye. And who does that immediately bring to mind?

A History of Violence came out in 2005,
And Kane & Lynch: Dead Men came out in 2007.

So it makes you wonder if Kane wasn’t inspired by Ed Harris’s character.

Well, I’ve got it added to my Amazon Prime watch list. It seems pretty interesting so I’ll have to watch it soon.

I’ve been meaning to rewatch A History of Violence as it’s been years since I first saw it. I remember thinking it was a great film back then, but that was when I was a lot younger so I’m interested to see how it holds up. Thanks for the info that it’s currently available on Prime!
